Soto has yet to post an OBP under .400 in his career. I'd take that level of regression any day.

Kyle Tucker kind of feels like he’s close to what he is. He’s not made a gigantic leap.

Soto has regressed some, but it’s not nearly as significant as folks seem to want to make it out to be.

Still 24. Still seems to have some projectable power upside. Still gets on base as well as anyone in baseball.

Like what exactly are we pointing at that Tucker does better? Defense in right field? Who cares?
 
Speaking of OBP. Is there a formula that gives a single a little more credit than a walk? Walks don’t Score runners from 2nd and 3rd. Is that what those WOBA / RC+ stats do?

Yeah, singles are worth more than walks in those metrics to account for that.
