2020-21 NBA Offseason thread: Officially a wrap

^^^ Speaking of same agents, unless AD fires Klutch in the next couple of months, any suggestion from any source that he might leave the Lakers in free agency should be ignored. I don’t know why anyone is still even raising it as a possibility.
It wouldn't matter if he did fire Klutch...

Any suggestion he was ever leaving LA once he got there was clown ****... Unless he got run outta town, he was never going anywhere..

The back and forth started before that. The irony is that Clippers philosophy was whatever Kawhi said, that's why they never had chemistry.

You’re right about the “whatever Kawhi said” part, but that’s not the only reason for any chemistry issues they had.

PG missed a third of the season. Other guys were in and out. Morris and Reggie Jackson only played like 10 games each with the Clippers before the season got put on hold. Was a bunch of stuff. Still no excuse for choking against the Nuggets though.

Hopefully he gets another gig. Now the Rox can go get that China money I guess

how long til tilman fertita start trying to save his money and unload james and russ?
they probably will draft a chinese prospect this summer

Morey sucks, but him stepping down feels like Tillman’s probably being a tight *** and trying to be too involved.

Sink the ship, Tillman.

Always thought he seemed like he could go challenge himself and run a Silicon Valley company.
Honestly, with the way that the investment industry is showing such interest in sports as of late, it would be great for a company to have a real sports guy in a leadership position. He can and should do it.

ownership is really the most important piece in an organization

i think klay is going to have a monster year. would not be surprised top 5 MVP finish
physically, he's stronger and in the best shape of his career according to the team and people that saw him in training camp
if he adds "bully ball" to his gm, issa wrap

:emoji_trophy:💦

Top 5 MVP finish. You sober, bruh?

Clearly not that’s why he’s recognized by the majority as the 2nd best player ever...

Some say he is the best

Clearly not
You’ll rarely see a list with Kareem ranked ahead of him

Eh Kareem still solidly at #2

Morey abandoning the sinking ship he built.
Windows really closed
ownership is really the most important piece in an organization

pums pums You're 100% right on the importance of ownership. General managers and superstars can make rash decisions because if things go poorly, they won't be there to face the brunt of the results anyway. Teams mortgage their future based on the guidance of people who aren't going to be there at the end anyway.

Hypothetically, if the Anthony Davis trade would have backfired do you really think that Rob Pelinka would have survived long enough to face the results?
