Locking up dak to a top 5 QB contract doesn’t really seem too smart to me.

But this is the NFL, where the market for QB’s is inflated and they’re a top priority.


I just don’t think you’re going to win anything with a game manager under center.

I don’t know that I agree with this in 2019. Two years ago dude was on another level but he has had some degenerative back issues that have slowed down his play a lot. He is still a top 10 LT but is on the decline real fast, plus zeke pretty much proved his worth last year with their big 3 linemen all missing significant time

Of their best players, only guys without contract issues or serious injury concerns: LVS, Demarcus, Martin and fredericks (I’m assuming on Fredericks)

they both got nice racks so what does it matter?

Cause that’s kinda not the only thing that matters... at least to me..

Yeah Matt Nagy has already said expect the same for the Bears this preseason as last year.

That 3rd preseason game he sat his starters for the most part, but that's because we played 5 preseason games last year.

I think they play a series or 2 that 3rd game but he's opting for health going into week 1. I'm fine with it.

I’m not mad at it.

It’s weird as a sport I don’t think football is conducive to preseason games given what we now know about how the contact and injuries pile up to have pretty bad long term effects but at the same time we can’t just have dudes out here going 0-100 with no type of “real” game warm up going into a new season.
