2019-20 NFL thread: Thread's dead. Move into spacedoodoo's

Nah.. just less dudes to get organized, plus the big ones are getting paid a crap tone outside of basketball

Meanwhile nfl dudes got a short shelf life, wayyy bigger rosters and endorsements ain’t flying their way like NBA dudes

It's more to it than that. You can't even get one NFL team to be on code. What the Steelers did when Leveon was tryna get paid would never happen in a NBA locker room. Too many NFL players are still submissive and scared.

I will say, I'm sure it's a hell of a lot easier to have guys stand up for you when it's 14 of you compared to 60+. I hated the way the steelers handled the Bell situation, from the guys in the FO and the players, it wasn't a good look.

But at the same time, the nature of the NFL is that next man up mentality, any and everyone is expendable, unless you're a franchise QB. There's too many moving parts that go into the team.

I get why players are out here protecting their own. I'm almost certain there's dudes in NFL locker rooms that have never even spoken to one another.

Is the eagles secondary still that doo doo that they have to reach out to this turd?

Think we’re looking at cheap potential backup nickel options, cause I could easily see us trading a guy or 2

Could see us doing the same thing at tackle, cause I assume we trade big V and have a vet there behind rookie, with the rookie being the primary backup

That was par the course for him in pittsburgh..

I mean the guy did get suspended on about 3 separate occasions for failing a drug test.

That's the thing if they were more organized it wouldn't be this big gap in pay but they've dug themselves so deep in the hole that everybody is just out for self.

You don't need to be friends and speak to somebody everyday to get on the same page in business. That's lil petty stuff. It helps all NFL players to be organized.

Well they do have their own players association in the NFLPA, that’s their organization method.

It just comes down to the reality of the situation. You’re simply not going to get over 1,000 players to all buy into one way of going about things. Especially when these players go out there every week to tear each other’s heads off.

NFL guys couldn’t even support something so minute as kneeling for the anthem. You think they’re going to somehow get together to discuss wages? Doubt it.
