2019-20 NFL thread: Thread's dead. Move into spacedoodoo's

Best RB’s in the league be making allan crabbe money

That gap is crazy tho.

But I get it.

NFL: 16 games NBA: 82 games

NFL: 53 players NBA: 15 Players

NFL rookie: 21-23 NBA rookie: 18- 21

NFL career: 5-10 years NBA career: 10 years+

I agree with everything you just said,

As well as the fact that the NBA’s brand is global and the TV deals they have are more lucrative (I think)

If there’s one thing you can thank David stern for, its expanding the NBA beyond the states.

Agree with all this, but at a minimum NFL contracts should be all guaranteed with health insurance for life (at least for players more than 3 years in the league or whatever it may be. Or maybe treat it like a pension, the longer you play the better the coverage, idk...)

They’d never do that. There would be too many players to insure.

NFL owners all about their money, and how they can save a dollar.

Fully guaranteed contracts absolutely has to happen.

Still amazed the pats didn’t go after dude after striking out on humphries

Now giants got 3 slot guys
Shula plans to move Shep outside but yeah, the Tate signing made no sense for NYG.

As for the Melvin Gordon debate, I see it from both sides. From the player's perspective, Gordon wants to get breaded out. His agents, Bilbo and Smith, will get it done one way or another. He's 26 at a position that cashes out RBs once after the rookie contract, if the player is lucky. From the Chargers's perspective, in the modern game, RB is not a position teams overpay for. If Gordon reports, he'll play for just over $5M this season. If not, he's losing out on $330,000 weekly. Their offense hardly misses a beat going with Ekeler and Justin Jackson.

My prediction? Gordon gets his money, but elsewhere. Chargers gonna save their darts for when they have to pay Bosa, Derwin James and/or Mike Williams in the near future.

You forgot me telling somebody to Pull up and they fail to show up.

To this day I still laugh heavily at a friend of mine (Giants fan) telling me "Did you not see Golden Tate on Seattle running deep....".

Bruh. Tate was last on Seattle in 2013  .

If y’all can listen to current Jay-Z and pretend he’s still good. A little current Nas won’t hurt ya

Oooooooooorrrrrrrrrr I can continue listening to the same ole nas and jay I been listening to for however long

If they come out with a song, great.. if they don’t, well ain’t the end of the world

Same for wu folks.. dungeon family.. NY as a whole and I guess jersey too (can’t forget red man)

36 chambers and forever are classics.. then I count all individual stuff as wu albums

And I just group redman with them and then I’ll throw Keith Murray and the one or two def squad songs I like with him
