Zimmer's had success vs. Foles in the past, but I don't even think it matters to a significant degree, because game managers create by what's around them not successful creators that force the issue/offense through their own talents.

Eagles, obviously different roster than the one Foles was with as a Ram. With Ajayi, Blount, Jeffrey, Ertz, Foles who is a more-than-quasi-game-manager QB will defer to his weapons as he's always done outside of that weird 2-INT year where he was thought to be potentially great.

Zimmer needs to attack him how he's been beaten this year, since he'll look different to Zimmer in how he's "running" the offense compared to past matchups with like Tavon Austin, etc.

Alshon Jeffrey turned down more money from Minnesota a year ago to sign with the Wentz/Eagles tandem and now he'll have to make plays for Foles or watch Minnesota head to the Super Bowl. Alternative universe-wise it's kind of a weird subplot for him, personally.
I mean who else is running to play with Sam Bradford lol

Gonna be a chess match between Zimmer and Pederson on who can adjust the quickest. That RPO gonna be unleashed

Id take Zimmer every time in that bout. The Eagles offense doesn't scare me at all. They can run the RPO all they want. The vikings have the fastest lateral defensive speed in the game. I don't think it will be very effective unless Ajayi goes off in the run game, which is possible. Foles is also a statue in the pocket so if they get into 3rd and medium to 3rd and long situations, there's no chance. And that's aside from Minnesota having the best 3rd down defense of all-time.

Philly's Offense had the best third-down conversion rate in the NFL when they/Foles played the Raiders on Christmas. But PHI finished eighth, and were 6-of-13 in that Falcons game.

Opposing teams only convert 25 percent of their third-down tries for first downs against Minnesota. Vikings are the No. 1 third-down defense by far.

The whole 'underdog' stuff from the Iggles has been ran into the ground already tbh. Don't know why they're taking folks opinions so seriously when most of those same people would have them as favorites the entire way if Wentz was out there

No one's actually ****ting on the team as a whole as much as folks aren't believing in Foles,as fair or as unfair as that may be

Insightful.

The Eagles have a shot, no doubt, but their offense with Foles is heavily mismatched against the Vikings defense. No need to get fussy at that point. Still there's other ways to find opportunity and their defense against Minnesota's offense is much more even and probably where the outcome of the game lies.

Not to go all CP on y'all but the point is this: There's more to a football team besides who the damn quarterback is. People are focusing on Foles way too much.

Sure. But at that point the Vikings are clearly more complete

It's because the offense hasn't looked all that threatening with him under center. The squad is still good enough to win regardless imo but that's basically all there is to it imo. You guys have all-pros all over ,don't think anyone actually considers you guys to be cupcakes

we were the best 3rd down team with wentz, who easily had the best 3rd down passing rating.. also was either 2nd or 3rd passer rating vs the blitz.. and then red zone our offense was the most efficient, i believe.. i know we were the no. 1 overall offense until he went down

all those things changed with foles

our oline is the biggest key for us vs you guys of our O

Still-In's avatar is how sarcastically I want Eagles players to take their jobs on Sunday, why wear failure like a badge of honor because damn it it's easier to just make a joke of it all and get on with it.

Yeah just go down with the sinking visor that is Doug Pederson's team and no not even Freddie Mitchell can row the remnants back to shore, I'm just talking confident because I'm scared.

Depth is the biggest factor I see and thats something one team is a lot better in than the other.
