welterweights and middelweights run boxing, and with smaller guys you're not gonna see a knockout every fight.

the average person used to be able to name 4-5 fighters, now it's basically Floyd and that's it

well yea, if you have someone who's a casual fan they won't be able to name more than a couple of guys.

but i'm a hardcore boxing fan, I'm sure baller is too. the retirement of floyd hurt the sport, he was the cash cow, and him being american definitely helped bring casual fans to tune in twice a year.

But canelo, golovkin, and many other guys will help cary the sport.
