Warriors still would've won in 5 at the most. A sweep was justified.
Spurs are not better than the Warriors.

Fair enough.
Then again, who knows what would have happened if Zaza didn't decide to do that and Kawhi was available the whole series. Lots of possibilities.
Unfortunately we didn't get to see that.

The combo of talent + coaching is something we've never seen before.
Kerr's offense optimizes everything.
If anybody needs help... it's definitely Kawhi. Can't rely on Aldridge. Pau has been done, who's knows about TP with his injury and we don't know if Ginobli is coming back next year. IMO this year was the year to take out the Warriors.

Warriors ultimately wouldve made kawhi be bron. Eventually thenodds wouldve evened out and spurs wouldve lost. That game 1 wouldve been the cavs game 4. No way they compile enough offense to keep up long time. Just look at them when kawhi went down. Sure he was their best player but he was just 1 man. Tony hurt. LMA a vegetable. David lee hurt. Patty buns. Danny green boo boo. Advantage dubs.

Spurs would've gotten completely demolished whenever Kawhi came out for rest.

I was saying something similar to a buddy of mine tonight. McCaw isn't the same offensive player Iggy is, but he's solid on the defense. He may ultimately be his replacement.
If you're the Warriors, you're looking for depth and value in the front court, particularly the center position. Cavs attacked Zaza and tried to exploit him on defense. Warriors put in West to counter, but you have to assume he won't be around much longer. Ideally they need a big like TT--solid in the perimeter and hat nosed on the boards. Hell, TT would look incredible on the Warriors haha

his rotations can be quirky, most def, but you can't argue with the system he's installed. Layers on layers on layers. How easy would it be to have that Scott Brooks vanilla offense? Or that Heatles hero ball?

Hell..mark jackson..while he got them to play defense...he definitely had no offensive schemes. He used to frustrate the hell out of me watching them go straight iso through the majority of the game. He had curry going full out iso all 4th qtr. Thats what got them mopped by the clippers. Scott brooks had dudes going iso for full games.. Then just the 4th. That iso stuff is cool in spurts. When you need to throw on the defense but that is not a long term offense. It cant be. Defenses are to sophisticated now. You can adjust to just about anything with enough game tape. You cant adjust to unselfishness and team ball though. Cant adjust to talent either.

Just finished rewatching the Finals...Cavs gave up too easily within the last 5 minutes of the game

Within those last 5 minutes...so many defensive switches were blown. Two of them being on Lebron himself. That pick and roll KILLED them so many times.

Bron gave up at least 6 points in the last 5 mins playing lazy D. He kept attacking.. sure but they need to stop the dubs on scoring too

Lebron's dunk on KD... Should have been KD's 3rd foul. Would have changed the dynamic of the game big time. Cavs probably pull away... Also didn't KD get a flagrant on the same exact play?
But it's pretty ridiculous that the Cavs need to score 130+ just for a chance to win... I think this Cavs team repeat if we dont add KD.

Yea Steph was consistent throughout the game. KD started off quiet but steph was there from the start.
