why a 3 year deal? Wouldn't it make more sense to do a 2 with opt out after 1st year? If you're gonna do a 3, might as well do a 5. The jump in cap after 3 years isn't much, right?

is he though? I'm assuming he can continue to get more with no affect to the cap. Luxury tax, sure. But I'm not sure if he's really helping them out with a 3 year deal.
