if its the same thing i did. every day you pick 1 player that you think will get a hit that day. if he gets a hit you start your streak and go on. you could pick a player like puig every single day if you wanted too. I picked miggy or beltre every day

His best move was getting Ethier for a bag of peanuts back in 2006, but giving him that ill-timed extension cancels that out. His trades are even more baffling, dealing prospects when their value has hit rock bottom. He always gets fleeced (Lambo/Mcdonald for Octavio Dotel, ).

In order to have the Indians cover the rest of Blake's salary, he threw in Santana. Logic behind it: Russell Martin was going to be the Dodgers catcher for years to come. Martin proceeds to decline dramatically.

Hope your buddy from high school sticks as well.  I really like stories like his....a low level draft pick who played so well in the minors that the organization had no choice but to give him a shot.  I understand that baseball is a business, and when a team is heavily invested in a player monetarily, said player will get all the opportunities in the world to prove he is worth the investment.  But I always root harder for the low level guys like your friend.

Granted but the fact is this is the **** I deal with every season. It is just frustrating but I am still proud of my team and everything our young squad has accomplished. As for this 5 game series I see it being rough with Cain and Tejada gone and Perez being banged up. That poor guy gets hit in the mask at least a good 2 times every game.
