Alex can't get a lifetime ban, he's never tested positive. There's so many stupid rumors about Alex. Lawyers and the union aren't having that. Can't skip phase 1 and 2 to go to lifetime.

What I want to know is, how much longer until Alex sues baseball for leaking his name on a confidential list that ruined his image while 100 other players got off???

yankees wish he would get a lifetime ban so they don't have to pay him.....no way can they do that to him especially since braun is only suspended 62 games.....

That's easy to say when you're not looking at how much money he lost this season.

I'd cheat too if it would land me that $100 million contract and it would only cost me $4 million of it if I got caught.:\ Scumbag Braun got off easy.

These suspensions don't have anything to do with the 50-100-lifetime penalties. He could get a lifetime ban, but it's (highly) unlikely.

I wouldn't put anything past the MLB, I think since ARod is on his way out the league they might Lifetime so they could set an example...

ARod is the perfect guy to make an example out of. No one likes him, his current team would love to get rid of him. You don't hurt the game or alienate fans in banning him. He's the perfect target for MLB to make a statement with.

That said, I don't see lifetime ban happening. All of next year, sure.

Banning A-Rod for life would just be bad business for baseball. He's one of the greatest players of all time, but it would set one hell of an example lol

Has nothing to do with optimism or whatever the hell Born and DMX are talkin about.

And the Pirates are finally in the mix after 21 years, not sure putting > in front of any team is all that big a deal. *shrugs*

Oh means absolutely nothing :lol

Hasn't been much NLC talk, that's all

They should put in the contract if you get caught using PEDs during this contract you will lose a certain amount or your contract will be voided after the positive test date...

ARod isn't getting a lifetime ban. You're a fool if you believe the MLBPA won't fight that to their death.

They gave Braun 62 games. Precedent has been set IMO. Most anyone can get from here on out is 62 games.

Explain. From what I've been told is steroid use no matter how it's obtained is 50-100-lifetime
