depending where you're parked it could take a good 20 minutes just leaving the lots at Citi Field. i'll never forget how long it felt waiting to leave the lot after we lost to the Cards in 06. just silence and sadness everywhere.

Not sure what you mean, but Citi opened in '09, '06 was Shea. Getting out of Shea's parking lot was just....:{. Hell, even walking out of there was a pain because everything ran together. Citi's parking lot flow > Shea's and it's not even close.

i was just going back a few years, to me they're the same stadium on the same piece of property 30 feet to the right basically. leaving the lot has sucked equally for me.

I remember making a wrong turn by Shea a few years back and ended up in what looked like a 3rd world country...complete with 4 foot deep potholes, dirt roads, and dudes that had dogs built like rhinos on Mr. T neck chain leashes. **** was crazy....just tried not to make eye contact w/ anyone :lol

Yeah they basically are. I been to Citi once since they built it, but I noticed the difference. I remember going to Shea on a couple of occasions and it took damn near an hour for me and my dad to get out of the lot. Citi, it took my and my girl, I want to say 25 min. Idk, maybe it was where I was parked. I have bad memories of exiting a game at Shea :lol

Sounds about right

IM, Met fans are excited to have a stud young pitcher with a bright future. Not to sound like an *** but they're in a full rebuild mode, this is one of their few bright spots. Plus, their history developing pitchers over the last couple decades hasn't been great. They're excited and rightfully so. I don't see how that's people being on his nuts but to each his own I suppose.

I don't think in this thread, but certainly in the media.

Anyway, 25 minutes to get out of a lot on a sell out type night. Not bad, takes about 30 minutes to an hour to get out of Dodger Stadium lots, :lol

That assessment of Harvey is dead on. He had a hot start and has been solid. He is the only bright spot besides Wright that we have. Now you add Wheeler who is coming along and now you have something to build on. We just hope we can keep it going. Yeah exiting the park has vastly improved imo.

ESPN's Power Rankings are ****ing terrible. The A's take both series against the Red Sox and Pirates (who were first and second, respectively, in last week's rankings) but are dropped from 4th to 5th? What a joke.

You should be used to the underrating as an A's fan. I wouldn't even be mad though. It was always like that for the Twins a few years ago too, but they would always find a way to the playoffs. That's all that matters.

Oh, I'm definitely used to it, I don't mean to say that recognition is necessary or needed. Just that if a power rankings poll can't be consistent than its useless as a measure for a casual fan to know who's who in the league.

That commute back is no joke man :lol either you're stuck in the lot or you're packed into a mobbed train. I saw on the news this morning that the 7 train was down in both directions after the Derby. All bad :lol

Last night was a nightmare...my friend in Jackson Heights came and picked me and my boys up and dropped us at some random station at Queens where we hopped on the F :{

MTA has been a complete joke this summer :{
