2015 Mercedes Benz C-Class * S-Inspired - Coupe Pics *C63 Officially Released*

Lol obviously some of you arent into cars. Benz being a luxury brand is just a marketing strategy they use in the US to sell cars. The same C, E class you guys see here are basically taxis in other parts of the world. Like Ford Crown Vics are here

This is the stupidest argument ever brought up yet.

:rollin

And you claim the other people here aren't into cars?
By far....

It is true tho... Mercedes is known as luxury only in the US... While across the globe, theyre known as a huge manufacturer that also makes luxury cars... In Europe, you'll see so many more a and b class cars than you would c and e...

Just saying...

Also, the measurements you used for the C class again is LAST YEARS MODEL. How many times do i have to say it? It has been rehashed and redesigned. It is bigger and wider.

Everyone knows its been rehashed and redone and that it's bigger, no one is denying or arguing that but it isn't as big as the E-Class. If you know anything about cars, you'd know the E-Class also increase in size every time a new one comes out.

And that measurement is from the new one. OK THE NEW ONE!!!!!
Here's a link: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2015-mercedes-benz-c-class-sedan-first-drive-review

Look at the specs section. Again, you find out what the hell you are talking about first because again YOU ARE WRONG ABOUT THE SIZE!

The comparisons I am making is in size, style, and features.

I just proved the size is wrong but style? Really? So the C being styles like an S class make it comparable? Really? :lol

As for features, don't give me what MB chooses to list as "key" features, give me the complete list because I know for a fact that isn't complete. Like this one for the E-Class.

And here's the changes the car got for the facelift to show that it isn't even that much behind in tech and features:

The front was heavily restyled, giving it a more aggressive look compared to the pre-facelift model.[19] The twin headlamp design is replaced with a singular front light (marking the end of Mercedes's dual headlamps use) with LED DRLs lights as standard, while full LED technology is available for the first time in this class as an option.[19] One thing new is the option of a front grille with a huge Mercedes-Benz star on it, which comes with a deletion of the hood ornament – an option previously unavailable on the E-Class and only used on smaller models like the C-Class.[19] The front bumper was made more sharp with bigger air intakes and the car was also given a rear LED taillights.[19] The rear doors and rear fenders were re-shaped, eliminating the wheel arch buldge and replacing it with a more traditional character line in the sheet metal.

Inside the car's cabin has been minimally restyled, with new aircon vents and a new analogue clock in the center console between the central air vents, like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222).[19] There's also a redesigned centre console without a selector lever, as well as a new multi-function steering wheel with DIRECT SELECT lever and shift paddles in conjunction with the automatic transmission.[19] If the driver has shifted up or down manually, after a set period of time the transmission independently switches back to automatic mode which saves fuel.[19]

Twelve new driving assistance systems, COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST (as standard), ATTENTION ASSIST (as standard), DISTRONIC PLUS with Steering Assist, Brake Assist system BAS PLUS with Junction Assist, PRE-SAFE[emoji]174[/emoji] Brake, PRE-SAFE[emoji]174[/emoji] PLUS, PRE-SAFE[emoji]174[/emoji] Impulse, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Highbeam Assist PLUS, Active Parking Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and Traffic Sign Assist, are now available for this model series.

It is clear on my list that the keyless entry is standard on the E-Class but the one you posted from MB themselves doesn't show that so that makes your post/pic on it completely null.

I mean at the end of the day if you cannot think of a reason why the E-Class, a class above the C is more expensive and you are touting the C-Class like it is the E-Class then you might as well consider my whole post rhetorical because you don't know anything about cars at all. :{ :lol Go ahead and contact Benz and tell them they are the biggest idiots in the world because they just made the C it's own Es competition and only suckers would buy the E because according to your imagination the size is the same (though it's not), the style is the similar because the new C looks like a baby S (makes no damn sense) and it has slightly more features than the E-Class that is 5 years old.

I mean seriously, the E-Class is 5 years old, I could comeback here in a year when a new E class comes out and prove you wrong all over again and the difference between the two will just be farther apart.

And there is a reason why the A and B aren't in the US though the B is here as an electric car. The standard features from there and quality are the same as they are here so the price is still a match, it's not liek the Benz is the Honda of Europe and the quality is the same. You aren't going to see the the Citroen C3 being compared to the C-Class, maybe not even to the A-class though I am not an expert with how cars are in Euro. They also have a much lower level in Europe than they do in the US like a C180 or the 318 does not exist here in the US but with that said a 318 is still €28,400 and that is about $38,000 in USD if you convert the currency.

With that said, the car does cost more being imported to the US so it's not like they are paying Corolla prices for their C-Class while we are paying $40k here in the US.

The dude also compared the Crown Victoria to the E-Class when really the only similarities is that they are both used as taxis. The analogy was just bad to make it seem like Benz is like a Kia to the rest of the world. If anything it just proves Benz durable for being able to endure itself as a taxi.

There are lots of other factors why this happens too like gas prices and such so the post was like a blanket statement than anything, no?

And Cadillacs/Buick are the most prestigious car in China. What's your point tho?

Not to mention people in Europe are drooling over the Mustangs, the first 500 models sold in seconds and the entry level is expected to starts at $50,500 (£30,000). And that's for the entry level with the 2.3L Eco-Boost engine, not ebven the 5L V8. :lol

German made cars used as taxis in Germany.

If you cant make the correlation...

If you can't figure it out, it's because they're a lot cheaper there because it's the place of origin. Same way our taxis are usually American made.

Which may be true that last part, but didnt I say the new C is better than the CURRENT E not a future E that doesnt exist and may not exist? LMAO!!!!!!!!! That also goes for the 15 they released information on that as well! AHAHAHAHAHAHA when the tech updates it may be better. Keyword for me is may. I am comparing it to whats on the floor now and nahhh it aint ******* with the C. It just isnt man. Why cant you accept that? Do you own an E? Did you over pay for it and still dont have all the options you can get? Dont be mad at me be mad at the dealer who sold it to you.

Again, know your sh*t or shut your mouth!

I took a screen shot of the link you sent. Went to dimensions and then uploaded the pic. What else do I have to do? The car and driver site used the same info as the 2014 on site. The picture is in my post tho. Smh like I said I'm done man. I'm more than likely arguing with a dude that drives a ******* Toyota Corolla.

And I thought you were done in the thread? I thought you are happy waiting for your C-Class and ready to slurp it in 10 weeks?

You're right I'm done I sure will slurp it. May I ask what kind of car do you drive? Just for reference.

:lol oh no, now it is about what I drive.

So you're saying the 2014 specs from edmunds that will be the same from KBB (Wheel Base- 108.7 inches, Overall Length-80.8 inches) and Cars.com (109 " wheelbase) are all wrong?

While the specs from Car & driver which are completely different from all those sites and shows it's increase length and size is actually from the 2014 model? The same measurements from Edmunds that shows the increase in length for the 2015 is wrong?

You are going to stick to that? Really? The numbers you claim to be 2014s numbers are being reported by 3 huge car sources as wrong and you are going to stick to that?

Oh god i hope you do leave the thread because this is just asinine now. You've been proven wrong over and over again, please just leave while you still have the dignity you have left or should I say whatever digninty the dealership that scammed left you.

Bye now!

Doesnt mater what RFX drives, dude has money. Dont you see allthe (sometimes ugly) designer shoes/clothes he gets in the designer topics? Haha no shots :p.

But for real, its lame to attack a dude for what car he has just cause you "lost an argument". CLA isnt exactly something id brag about anyway.
