Side point: I don't think Peppers is right though in saying "they cancel" it when you leave campus. They cancel it after a year because the meal plans are typically one year in length, but that's understood from the outset? Even students without scholarships can move off campus typically and still register for a meal plan on campus even if the previous one expired at the end of his last term in the dorms. He may just not know how to shop for himself when it's the first time in his life he's doing so, possibly
