USC killing it
Porter Gustin and Osa Masina are playing in this game and allegedly USC silents as well.
Lol does Duke have more players in this game then us?
Yes.

USC had to steal two almost Duke Commits: Sam Darnold and Tyler Petite. Cutliffe is killing, but Coach K's recent recruiting success is helping the football team too.
sarcasm?
Only partially.

Football and basketball kids talk. Duke is recruiting better in both sports because they're starting to take different kinds of kids, a lot of them play both sports and see each other in season. Cameron Indoor is never getting bulldozed so a lot of that money is going to the football field's renovations. Also i remember some recruits saying when they took their visits they got to meet Coach K and the team on campus. When Duke basketball is on top, it helps everything else.

Pick Six Previews  ‏

The 5 losses are magnified nationally, but remember that the SEC's SEVEN Bowl Wins ties its own record
The Pac-12 is 6-2 overall, including a 5-1 record by the Pac-12 teams ranked in the top 25 by the college football playoff selection committee.

The SEC, meanwhile, is 7-5 overall, second best among the major conferences. But the SEC's seven ranked teams were 2-5 in bowl play, including losses by No. 1 Alabama, No. 7 Mississippi State and No. 9 Mississippi.

The Big Ten, underdogs in all 10 of its bowl games, finished 5-5, including wins by its three highest ranked teams - No. 4 Ohio State, No. 8 Michigan State and No. 18 Wisconsin.

Bowl records don't mean all that much. It's a very small sample size and records can be very matchup dependent.

That's crazy. Duke hoops had been on top many years.

Coach K name and words don't help football recruits

Coach Cut Is the lone reason why the football team is recruiting and playing better

Damn... Holdin the towel up over his poopy pants doesn't help his cause... :{

2 more years to show results. With a QB and discipline they can win 8-9 games next year in that conference with losses to Baylor and TCU and maybe Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and OK State.

Problem is they don't have a quarterback... There ain't one to be found down there. It's awful. And completely inexplicable.

But its the Big XII.. Baylor and TCU have to replace QBs. Oklahoma is down. Everyone else kinda sucks.

Jake Spavital may be leaving Texas A&M... Their hires have indicated they're at least trying to shift gears and not be a bunch of undisciplined pusses, so maybe Dave Christensen is being given more responsibility than has been let on?

Would likely push Kyler elsewhere though, so who knows.
