Big 12 commish Bob Bowlsby says if he was a selection member he would have voted for TCU for 4th spot, not Baylor.

I'm gonna go back to quote myself but I said I was preparing myself for Osu to win it all.

soooo nick saban has 3 weeks to prepare for a 3rd string QB and a coach he's familiar with

I don't honestly think we win but you never know, I just hope it's a good game.

Heisman finishing order?
Mariota
Gordon
Cooper
Boykin

Would Notre Dame got left out if they were in the same position as TCU and Baylor?

My CFB prediction a few months ago:

Bama

Oregon

FSU

Oklahoma

3 of 4 isn't bad.

Is Arizona as bad as they looked vs Oregon? If so, there's no chance in hell I'm watching the Fiesta Bowl.

Mariota

Cooper

Gordon

Boykin

On second thought, I'm sure I won't watch that game.

Arizona finally makes it to the Fiesta Bowl and we get freaking Boise State as an opponent. Even I'm not interested in watching this game

Arizona still in the top 10 baffles me, :{. They're not that good, they just got washed by Oregon, weren't really that convincing or dominant in any way shape or form.

The whole TCU vs. Baylor head to head argument in support of Baylor over TCU makes me wonder if people actually watched that game.

Would Notre Dame got left out if they were in the same position as TCU and Baylor?
nope.. the powers that be wouldn't allow one of the "historical" programs to get left out in the cold like that

same thing goes for auburn in '04 (or Miami in '00).. there is no where near the outcry that there should have been for that team.. but let that had been florida, texas or the holier than thou notre dame, they would have had to shut down the whole thing

Could ND play 13 games if they wanted to?
USC was playing 13 regular season games with Hawaii trips to make up for the bowl ban years and played 14 total last season. Would have been 15 if they'd made the conference championship.

ND could petition the NCAA to let them, they just don't have a need to. They've always been favored in post season.

why wouldnt the Big XII contact FSU, Miami, VT, Clemson, and GT to add them?

that way it helps both the top ACC schools and helps the BIG XII

that conference would be :smokin

Didn't they do that last year?

idk just thought about the pipelines and TV spots could be a win win

especially for FSU they run through that conference no one can say they dont play anybody same with Baylor and TCU

I think it would be the best conference topping the SEC

I could def see ga tech/Virginia/Virginia tech leaving, wasn't there a rumor the big ten would target them a few years back before they went with the two bum schools?

I bet the ACC would do everything it could to keep FSU there now

FSU and Miami need to come to the big boy conference.

FSU to the West. Miami to the East. Move Auburn to the East and Mizzou to the West. Everyone wins.

Surprised they didn't go to the 4, 16-team super conferences a few years ago. We wouldn't be having a real debate about the top 4 then. Just take those 4 conference champs and that's it.
