I know 3 people who went to BYU and drank, smoked, and had sex. They just couldn't do it out in the open like that but the school still turned a blind eye a lot of times. (one kid was caught drinking in the dorm and was just forced to live off-campus, and a girl who i went to HS with had a shotgun wedding and had a kid 4 months later and the school didn't say anything.)

It makes me question some of these "honor code" suspensions they announce.
Disclaimer: I realize they have strict rules. I just question this selective enforcement. Especially of draconian ones like the no earrings rule.
