The Heat are looking for a better option at pg because of Wades regression and so Lebron could play off ball more not carry the load every game.

There isn't any debating that wade isn't the player he was. He's clearly not a max player. But he was still the best SG in the east in the playoffs. He wasn't good in the finals, but up until that point he was still a viable 2nd option.

He's probably worth $12m and should get $15m for being an OG. Anything less than $10 is laughable.

The heat should make wade the 3rd option and play thru bosh more since he has more to give.

Sleepy joe was the best SG in the east during the playoffs.

There ppg and field goal percentage was nearly identical in the series against each other

People need to get that whole legacy **** outta here when talking about what team these dudes choose. Did all the great Lakers have any effect on how Kobe and Shaq were perceived for winning their titles? Did any of the great Celtics have any effect on how KG, Pierce, Ray and Rondo were perceived? How about the Bad Boy Pistons....that shadow too big for how Chauncey's championship Pistons team was perceived?

If you win a championship it'll never be forgotten no matter if you win one or six. In Melo's case with the Bulls I really hope in the year 2014 players aren't still scared of being cast in the shadow of a guy that hasn't played there since 1998.

buc em buc em

Eh it's not just one guy it's thee guy

But that.got nothing to do with them I agree..it's very different circumstances

"The Chicago Bulls have told Carlos Boozer it is possible he will be waived using the amnesty provision, but the team has made no final decisions, sources told ESPN.com.

The Bulls met with free agent Carmelo Anthony on Tuesday and have a visit planned with free agent Pau Gasol on Thursday. To clear salary-cap space for either, the Bulls will have to release Boozer or use him in a sign-and-trade deal.

Boozer is in the final year of a contract that will pay him $16.8 million this season. The Bulls have until July 18 to use the amnesty clause on Boozer, which would remove his salary from their books.

In that case, teams with cap space would be able to bid on Boozer in a waiver process. He would be awarded to the highest bidder to pay a portion of his salary. He would become a free agent only if there were no bids.

Currently, if the Bulls were to waive Boozer, they would have about $9.7 million in cap space.

If he is used in a sign-and-trade, the Bulls would be able to take back more than $20 million in salary. This is why the Bulls are leaving their options open with the veteran forward, sources said.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported Boozer already had been informed the Bulls would use the amnesty provision on him.

Boozer averaged 13.7 points and 8.3 assists per game last season when he rarely played in fourth quarters."

At this point...there's no real significant upgrades available for the Heat. If Lebron stays...he's basically rolling the dice and giving it another shot with the same exact core intact.
I didn't realistically see what people were expecting them to do before FA. Looks even worse now. Lowry was always a pipe dream. Dude in his prime and had an opportunity to cash out.

It's a wrap for the Heat :pimp:

Shabazz Napier is gonna be their top scorer next year

Still think Cleveland is ideal for LeBron. What's the difference between wasting next year in Miami with an aging core and spending next year in Cleveland with a young core that he can still carry to ECF at minimum?

If you trying to be legendary you can't be jumping ship like this. I ain't eem like miami but this diva needs to stay put and quit ho-ing himself out or go home Cleveland and stay there.

Maybe he trying to have his jersey retired in every arena tho.

[/quote]No difference.

But he's not trying to waste any years. Son is after championships.

Ring chasing... in his prime.

The pacers are probably going to lose a key player.

There are NO threats in the east. I don't see why lebron should leave.
