my bad it was on nbcwashington and he was looking for like a 4 yr 44 million a yr.... roughly 11 a yr. Now i looked at another site the washington post... it says he is looking for 11-13 million 4/5 yr dealWhere are you seeing the #'s? He's not going to take less than what Javale McGee is making....Centers get PAID. Good ones, like Gortat, will definitely cash in...
i look at it as if he looking to get 11-13 for 5 yrs id offer him 13 for 3/11 for 4...as a starting offer, with 11 for 4 being the max id go... anything else id say ok well go head and try to get 11/13 for 5 yrs.I shudder at the fact that Washington is gonna give a 30 year old center a 5 year fat contract
Id offer him 3 years 20 mil. But he thinks hes worth more so.........
I wonder how much is Monroe asking? Better to give him 11 mil than Gortat.
Gotta get rid of Websters contract
One of the best, if not THE best, defender in the league at the SG spot and he's 23 years old, averaged 15 a game this past year and has potential to turn into more........but he's a bum
The reason is more to do when Doc Rivers was around he never played Bradley, he was limited to garbage time his first 2 years in the league, he didn't get minutes till Ray Allen was injured (March 2012) and when he proved he was a better fit as a starter than Ray was.I always get the feeling that Bradley doesn't get the respect he deserves from both fans and around league though. Maybe it's his inconsistency? I dunno why the dude doesn't get recognized more
Also, luol deng and Trevor ariza are very closely watching the offers Parsons and Hayward get.
The Washington Wizards have offered center Marcin Gortat a five-year contract and will re-sign him Tuesday, according to News4's Dianna Russini.
Guarantee it's in the 11 mill a year neighborhood

If Washington could somehow shed Websters contract and sign Parsons & Monroe for 20 mil total
For some odd reason some of these dudes just don't get this. A younger player with the same production or close to it as an older player is going to get paid more. It's standard common sense.I have no Idea why Especially Deng... Thibbs ran that man to the GROUND he is guarantee to be injured over the next few years... Parsons & Hayward are both young with upside & have close to the same production, they're gonna get PAID
AlexKennedyNBA: David Griffin said he sees Andrew Wiggins as "a big two-guard" on Friday, which has some execs believing Cavs may look to move Dion Waiters.

No sh*t sherlockNo ****
You're silly to think agents aren't looking around the league to see what other players see getting. Young guys sell themselves on potential growth, older guys sell themselves on track record/proven commodity.
If Parsons and Hayward get around 12 million, believe ariza and deng are looking for not much less.
So, you'd offer Gortat LESS than what he's currently making?
It definitely is hot garbage. You don't end up in the lottery year after year unless you're garbage. Do they have some good young players? Yes they do but the team as a whole is garbage. The Cavs roster is definitely not "hot garbage" ... They have a lot of talent but man this team was put so randomly together. Chris Grant really is an idiot and he may be unemployed for life.
IMO make your young core Irving and Wiggins. Give Bennett the benefit but everyone else should be made available.

i think they could give him the 11-13 a yr he wants... just not long term... in no fashion if im the wiz do i give him/offer him a long term deal more the 10 a yr MAX... dude is what 30/31 y/o and they still have to sign ariza and they probably want to add pieces along the way.Why yes, yes I would. I feel se has 2 good years in him left. If they give him 11 per, they basically waived goodbye to their future.
