Harden, Klay, Beal, Lance and Oladipo are good players. NBA been lacking in SG's until these players came in.

I mean i dont have a problem when a player is focus and serious **** like that.. but acting the same way at all star event :lol ..lighten up man

You not from chicago right?

Then I understand..

Well they'd have to at least be at the cap to open up those exceptions, but I don't know if Arison wants to pay that repeater tax. It does limit what they can offer free agents though. You just can't offer 10 mil if you're over the cap already, which is why Bron wanting the max and possibly getting it is even more perplexing.
yea thats what im trying to understand.... i mean id imagine some room will be made due to battier retiring, mario leaving.... i dont know if they resign oden.... hell what to do with josh hamilton, do you keep/sign james jones....i guess you keep tony (although outside of insurance dont see why) and beasley was a experiment gone wrong....

id agree pretty much those yrs was overall his best/peak although the 10' season id say kobe was more of a efficient scorer and was a better overall team player... I think it was the 10' season....

He shot 45% in 06, 46% in 07, 46% in 08, 47% in 09, 46% in 10 all while putting up more points in 06-08 than he did through 09 and 10 and having more assists in 07 and 08 5.4 than he did in 09 and 10 4.9 and 5.0 respectively. I think winning the title may give the perception he was a better player during that period when really he wasn't individually.

Kobe was way better in every aspect that mattered.

how was mj making 25 a year like almost 20 yrs ago but all the max players now getting 20 or so. What happened to inflation. I don't know its not my money buy the NBA needs to pay better .

What?

I don't give a **** about consecutive years. What the hell are you trying to say? You already said Kobe is better but you keep quoting me.

Kobe is the better player than Wade.

Kobe also had a higher number of seasons that he played in his prime.

I have no idea what's so hard to understand.

I said Wade is a top 20 SG. I'm not gonna sit here and create a top 20 SG of all time, that's stupid. Son would never be called top 20 off all time by anyone outside of NT. That's absurd.
hes a top ten.... arguably a top 5..... you said maybe 20...as a hypebeast i wanna ride kobe hard.... then realized how redic/absurd it sounded now you str8 up gregory hines tap dancing and moonwalking away from that statement...

Moonwalking away from what???

Kobe is better, that's it. It's not even close.

Is Wade a top 20 player of all time? Absolutely not.

Is he a top 20 SG of all time? Probably, if I had a list of SGs in front of me right now I could give a definite answer. Off the top of my head, he's in.

Pistons didn't pick up the option on C. Billups.

Grizzlies didn't pick up the option on E. Davis.

MJ was criminally underpaid his entire career but was able to recoup some of his those last two years when he made 30 million. The players have the opportunity to make that much and more, see Kobe when he signed a max deal in 2004 and extension there after and he made 30 million this year. He was eligible to take another extension that would have paid him 32 mil next season and 34 the year after. So a lot of these guys have the requisite years and qualifications (ie Duncan, KG) to be making crazy money, but they are choosing to play for a lot less than their market value.

thing is what jordan individually meant to the nba...it was justifiable...hell one would say he was being underpaid tbh...i was reading an article awhile ago called the jordan effect and his economic/social impact and growth of society and the nba...

I dont remember exactly but jordan retirement (1st time) nba ratings dropped 55% and there was a 17% decrease of nba revenue....So for a man to basically be 25% of the reason for the nba profits... id say the 25 was well worth it...

Add two teams to the expected Pau Gasol market: Phoenix and Atlanta. Lakers, Knicks, Bulls, Mavs, Rockets all expected to pursue.

^^cool.

that was long ago. I would think the best player in the NBA would be getting at least 40 by now. If mj was getting 30 his last years.... The owners making way more money now rite with the tv deals etc.

Can someone just make a player a vs player b free for all thread and you all can go nuts in there? Lol

^^None of the sg nowadays seem that nice.... Position has really fallen off when James harden is the best it has to offer.

Yeah these players need to be making more money.

It's counterproductive to the cause when the best player takes paycuts and is expected to do so again. It's going to bite them in the *** so hard in 2017 when they go back to the negotiating table.
