their really isnt some huge gap in terms of player between prime kobe/dwade...... although ppl will make it out (mostly stans, 2k ballers...and ppl generally lacking bball knowledge) as if it was.

Kobe overall was a better player in his prime then wade was. Defensively id say theyre about even although id give a slight edge to wade simply because his dominance on defense was alot longer then kobe... Kobe when he was locked in was a better defensive player but that lockdown kobe was sporadic and he wasnt very consistent with it (aka night in/night out for a extended amount of time/seasons etc...)

But this whole kobe vs wade is like comparing jordan and drexler talk is kinda oding it...

One of the best 2 way players ever

Kobe stans wont admit he was in kobes rear view since his 2nd year in the league while kobe was the best player in the game in his 9th year & t mac & vince were also in their prime & wade was on their level in only his 2nd season

wait do yall mean prime or peak?

How old are you? Did you not watch players in the 80s or 90s? If you didn't, it would explain your post. I would never imagine Wade being top 20 of all time. Maybe a top 20 SG of all time?

Rose is even dumber than I thought.

Don't know if it's possible for him to be dumber than you thought.

Rose doesnt even seem like that type of person to workout with other stars in the offseason lol

Just dolo workouts and go home with the fam

Never forget...

Lmao.

Rose just wants a decent wing players.
He wants the team to be his. Not some guy from BMore running his hometown team.

Prime wade was a generational talent. The flops, whining, legendary referee treatment, making fun of dirk...make him easy to hate

Plus one of the most annoying things is when he retaliates. If you make him look bad or he doesn't get a call he wants, he is looking to injure someone.

The amount of seasons Kobe played in his prime vs the amount of season Wade played in his prime.

but it isnt how long they played in their primes its at their best who was better not who played better the longest.... or who played great the most consecutive yrs. If that was the case ppl would be saying kobe>jordan

No, if Kobe played 12 seasons in his prime and Wade played 6 seasons in his prime, it matters. Clearly, Kobe would be the better player.

Not saying 12 or 6 is correct.

I mean i dont have a problem when a player is focus and serious **** like that.. but acting the same way at all star event :lol ..lighten up man

Wade's prime was 06-11 peaking in 2010.

Kobe's prime was 03-10 peaking in 2006. Post prime Kobe put up 25, 5, 5 (2011); 28, 5, 5 (2012); 27, 6, 6 (2013) at ages 32, 33, and 34 all while playing 218 outta 230 games.

Sorry it's not a comparison. Longevity or peak wise, that 02-03 season where Kobe wasn't at his best and just entering his prime (30, 7, 6) was as good as Wade's best year.

he was the better player...but not because of the length of time he played great... like i said if thats the case then it would be kobe>jordan... cause mj prime was 3 straight yrs...a 2 yr hiatus then another 3 straight yrs.... surely kobe played great/prime ball for more then 3 years... but no one would say because of this...prime/peak kobe>prime/peak mj

This is unlikely, but here me out; what if the Rockets' pitch to Melo is to sign with us, then we'll use Parsons, Lin and other assets (Jones, future picks, etc) to trade for Love.

Somehow they come out of the off-season with Dwight, Love, Melo and Harden. Like that's not totally crazy right?

im still waiting for these 20 sg who were better at their prime/peak then wade was at his....

I think he meant top 20 players all time, but I could be wrong.

As free agency starts, James/Bosh/Wade plan to give Pat Riley a window to enact his plan on upgrading supporting cast, sources tell Yahoo.

How exactly will this work unless Riles knows the parameters of their contracts already, which I'm guessing would be illegal. Or are they going to negotiate their salaries around whoever he's able to get, because if Bron seriously wants the max and Wade isn't playing for the minimum, their market is pretty limited on who they can pick up. I don't think the MLE is enough for an Ariza or Gortat.

Miami would be better off with a Gasol or Gortat or an Ariza or Deng. No need for a point guard like Lowry who dominates the ball, they can find any point guard to run the show. Rather have a big or wing
