wiggins prolly wouldve been happy to play with kyrie. thats a beautiful duo right there. but soon as lebron said hes coming back, wiggins knew what it was. he knew he immediately just became old news, fell to 2nd or 3rd option (with love there, maybe even 4th) and wanted out. i dont blame him. as a rookie I'd want to shine. lebron being on the team will guarantee some wins and alot of attention on the TEAM... but lebrons presence casts a shadow on pretty much everyone else on the team.

It's all cool to give props to Wiggins now given what he said in that interview but she should've shown all that confidence when ESPN put him out to pasture. He should've made it clear when those insulting questions were asked. Dude asked him what would you say to convince LeBron to let him stay, LeBron to let him stay C'mon son.

Wiggins was being herald as the next LeBron type talent, whereas Kawhi was viewed as a solid starter or great role player. For Wiggins to be a 3rd option on any team, would have been a letdown. Up until this past postseason, nobody saw Kawhi as anything BUT a 3rd option, and until the combo of Parker, Duncan and Manu is gone, Kawhi still will be the 3rd option.
