Post 06 title, and pre LeBron, the heat got knocked out on the 1st round 3 of 4 years. What exactly would LeBron and wade be battling for had LeBron not come to Miami when the heat were battling just to get out of the 1st round?

Pippen got better as Time went on because he was with Jordan. Jordan got him to elevate his game.

Rodman was already nice. 2 rings with Pistons and DPOY awards.

Rodman nice, but he is just a defensive guy. He isn't carrying a team through playoffs or season alone like Bosh, Wade, Love and Kyrie can.

Bron is the only person in the NBA who wants to team up with Superstars to help him get a ring.

He should've just played it out in CLE the whole time.

I don't believe superstars in their primes should team up. Should be competing vs eachother.

But tek stop lying. You was never a heat fan until Bron came.
DRose didn't just recruit Carmelo?

Dwight and Harden didn't just wine and dine Bosh?

Tim Duncan didn't almost join up with Grant Hill and T-Mac in Orlando?

Kevin Love didn't just demand a trade to play with LeBron (ironically the guy you're hating on)?

Ray Allen, the world's greatest shooter, isn't voluntarily following LeBron (ironically the guy you're hating on) wherever he goes?

KG/Pierce/Jesus never happened?

Kobe never went on record saying he wanted to trade a teammate for prime Kidd?

CP3 wasn't heated when 'basketball reasons' happened?

Let's take it the NFL....Peyton didn't handpick where he went after Indy? Brady wouldn't if he was in the same situation?

Dawg, I'm not saying you're an idiot but stop making this issue so black and white; LeBron isn't the first player in any of the major sports to proactively try to win rings.

He wasn't happy in Cleveland, wanted to win rings with 2 amazing talents and live in a great city. That's commendable.

He realized he's Cleveland at heart and wanted to re-join them when they had built themselves up a bit. That's commendable.

What would you guys have wanted him to do? Get drafted in a trash situation like Sacramento, never sulk, never win, etc...then you'd be happy?

Lol....I want to ban so many of you guys. I'm not saying I want to ban all LeBron haters but I feel like that type is constantly saying the most outlandish stuff.

thank you

Didn't Bron and Wade have a couple 30/40 point duels in the playoffs ?

There was a reason he joined Wade in Miami, he wasnt no slouch he knew that Wade was a bonified superstar and a proven champion already.

I don't think so. If memory serves me correct, they only had those duels in the regular season.

Look at you; in full scorned woman mode. :lol

I'm sure you had no problem with LeBron joining up with potential HOFers and recruiting players when he was still in Miami.

:lol @ the notion that being Jordan's teammate was the sole reason the likes of Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman got into the Hall of Fame.

MJ is great that is indisputable, c'mon now.

actually...ive been a heat fan since i was born. I ABSOLUTELY HATED the idea of lebron coming to miami. Yall dont ever mention it... but in the first years of their careers, wade and lebron were pretty evenly matched. Watching them duke it out was GREAT basketball. I hated the idea of lebron COMING HERE to play with wade. I wanted to see them battle. It wasn't until lebron got her that wade fell back and declined significantly. Please dont speak for me like u know me.

Ever since bron left you been annoying as **** lol. Sounding like a scorn lover. You probably wasn't even a heat fan before the big 3 formed. Bron and Wade were never evenly matched at any point during his time in Miami.

Jordan only played 3 years before Pippen was drafted. The Bulls had a young, up and coming star who developed into an All-Star by his third season. LeBron had nothing like this, please for the love of God don't say Mo Williams. LeBron played 7 years for the Cavs without a legit 2nd star. Their situations were not alike at all.
rodman averaged 13 rebounds per game. 13....  dont put him on a god-level pedestal. so if rodman stayed with 2 chips and his dpoy he was going to the hall of fame by 1995 when he joined the bulls? REALLY!?

Pippen was going to HOF for exactly what? a versatile defender? Pippen didnt even start making noise til phil jackson came. And everything past that point involved jordan. now the argument was...without jordan being there, he wouldn't have made HOF. so... how many chips does pippen win without MJ leading the bulls?  how many games do they even win without MJ? how many allstar appearances does pippen even make without jordan?

@SpearsNBAYahoo: USA Basketball adding Kings forward Rudy Gay to their World Cup roster.

So you got that statement from "Yall dont ever mention it... but in the first years of their careers, wade and lebron were pretty evenly matched."

i dont understand how some of yall are SO bad at reading....

agreed with everything you said in your post but that. someone jumping ship to a better team, then coming back once their old team has built themselves up is not commendable. if you were talking about fans...youd call that bandwagoning. guess its cool cuz its lebron tho...

i had a feeling this would happen.  I know they used Rudy as a stretch 4 a couple years ago and when KD went down there was no other guy on the roster that could be used in that way

So what would have been acceptable? Staying in MIA forever?

Does MJ get brownie points for playing on the Wizards since they sucked or something? Would you have been salty if he joined a contender?

I just don't get it. Stay with a team forever and never win = career loser. Control your own future and maximize chances of winning = taking the easy way out.

Such a dumb post.

DROSE clearly said he isn't recruiting anybody. Did it happen? No. Is it worth discussing? No.

Bosh isn't Bosh anymore. If he went to Houston are they the favorites??? Hell nah. Did it happen? No. Is it with discussing if it didn't happen? No.

What's almost with Tim Duncan? Did it happen? Did he do it? No. Is their a point in discussing it? No.

Love just wanted to get out of Minnesota. Bron recruited him. Why? Because Bron needs superstars to win.

Ray Allen isn't a superstar bro. He's a role player.

KG PP and Ray were in their 30's when they joined. They were all declining. That's common for players to join forces when they are in mid 30's.

Did Kobe get Kidd? No. Worth discussing? No. Kobe had Pau and Bynum and Odom. Were they superstars? Hell no.

Who did CP3 join again? Oh.... A 2nd yr unproven Blake.

NFL is nothing like the NBA. Also Manning didn't decide to go to Broncos to team up wth certain players.

Brady would never leave NE. If you think that u need to put the crack pipe down.

Again.... NFL is nothing like NBA. Everybody has a role and has to do their job.

Easy!

i dont care if he stayed in MIA forever. but going back to cleveland and the letter about being homesick bla bla bla. please. hes there in control of a team in under 30 days flat. like u said, the team had built themselves up now even with a high potential #1 draft pick (and a few more first round picks to come) HIGH cap space and he saw opportunity to take control. and he did. he took the easy way out....for a 2nd time.

he couldve stayed in miami for another couple years (not 1...not 2... not 3 not 4 not 5.... [ok maybe just 4]) he couldve headed to ANY team, but to go back to cleveland? and then by chance all this happens? cmon man

lebron is doing dirt. no way around it. BUT! thats his decision! ive been saying to stop comparing him and jordan. lebron wants to win NOW at any cost. if cleveland starts tanking again, he'd prolly jump ship again. if miami had won for the 3peat...cleveland wouldve never came up. it is what it is

So you admit that all those players tried but since LeBrons master plan actually went through, he's the bad guy?

Lmao. I must be getting trolled. Candid camera/Niketalk.

DRose was in that meeting with Melo. He wasn't recruiting him? F else would he be there for, to deliver a pizza?

has this been posted?   wtf :lol

This may be one of the best Shaq-related stories courtesy of former Suns assistant coach Alvin Gentry on ESPN’s True Hoop
and Yahoo Sports
.

Gentry said in the interview that every few days,  Shaq would decide it was time for a Brazilian naked wrestling contest where he would grab a teammate, throw them to the floor and “do five rollovers with you.”

yall need to start reading everything before commenting. its becoming increasingly clear yall read a response, have no idea what the topic is, and hop in. i was going against dude comparing lebron to jordan by explaining theyre just too different. and kept it real by saying lebron is surrounding himself with other top players which jordan never did. winning dpoy and 2 titles doesnt guarantee hof status lol.

another dude said jordan joined a team with HOFers as if they were lock-ins before he got there.

but really tho...if u didnt read the convo...dont jump in the convo. inform urself first.

Oh I know EXACTLY what the convo was about which is WHY I said you sitting here acting like bron just starting recruiting players off the bat as if he didn't WAIT SEVEN years in Cleveland first to see if anyone would develop. Again, Jordan had pippen come to him a few years AFTER Jordan was drafted. He didn't have to wait SEVEN years to see if anyone was going to finally become a great player. What about that is soooo hard to understand for you?. Bron and Jordan's situations were totally different. If boogie Gibson, donyell Marshall, d miles, etc showed flashes of greatness I'm sure Lebron wouldn't have had to recruit players and "stuck it out."

Also, you misunderstood the whole Rodman argument. I'm saying dude was ALREADY a somebody BEFORE he linked up with the bulls. You sitting there acting like Rodman was some kind of draymond green or something as if he didn't already make a name for himself in this league

I like the Rudy Gay call up.  He's one of the most underrated players in the league, just been overshadowed by that max contract

KG/Pierce/Jesus never happened?  (The 3 never talked before it happened, all front office doing, and can argue not in their prime)

Kobe never went on record saying he wanted to trade a teammate for prime Kidd?

CP3 wasn't heated when 'basketball reasons' happened? (Chris Paul was getting traded regardless; the league did was they wanted to)

Let's take it the NFL....Peyton didn't handpick where he went after Indy? Brady wouldn't if he was in the same situation?  (WTF?

Manning was cut! Of course he would chose the best situation)
