Steve Nash will be one of those guys that dont get the recognition they deserve until like 10 years after he hangs it up. He was an offensive player the likes of which the league has never seen before.
U on one.

Steve Nash is clearly one if the best PGs ever. But then again what PG doesn't flourish in Mike D Antonis offense?

Not taking anything from Nash. He's one of my favorite players ever. But gotta give Mike credit for that offense.

They'll score like 130 a game and give up 120

That suns team was definitely the most entertaining team to watch the last 15 years.
Steve Nash did these sorts of thing pre and post Mike D'Antoni though, and we always say that his coaching style was built around PGs, but who besides Nash flourished to that degree in it? Steve Nash's high level of talent is what made things the way they were.

Yep so Kawhi is the best player in the NBA :smokin

Really? Not sure where you're getting that from.

How could a guy be the NBA MVP but not be a top 5 player at one point in time?

The ******* yall say sometimes :smh:

I looked back at the year Rose won the MVP, and although there is no doubt that Rose was top 10 player that year, it may be a debate whether he really was a top 5 player.

I think the main reasons he won MVP was that 1) he was the best player of the team that won the most games, and 2) voter fatigue on LeBron.

Hell of a player still, though. I"m not doubting his talent, just the fact whether he really was a clear top 5 player at the time.

You forgot about how his team went from a 40 win team to a 60 win team

And also how lebron basically went to a super team, put up the same stats, and his team had less wins

You forgot they went from a 40-60 because of Coach Thibedou. Not Rose. They had the best defense. But not enough with that weak offense with no true 2nd option.

They got those wins cause of the defense and cause Rose took his game to another level, MVP level c'mon man isn't it evident as this past season there was no D Rose and they went back to being a 40 win team

You could look at it both ways though. Another main reason they became the elite team is the hiring of Thibodeau. Before that the coach was I think Del Negro, and we know how his track record is as a coach.

Also, the fact that LeBron went to a super team and was able to put up similar #s could also mean that his greatness shins anywhere he goes.

Just playing devil's advocate here. I was rooting for Rose to get MVP because I was also tired of Bron winning MVPs.

Yea i feel you, what i meant by that is that he left what people consider a bad team (Cavaliers) which was a 60 win team and joined a stacked team (Heat) and some how and less wins

Thats why i think he lost it

Thibodeau has coached the Bulls to 45 and 48 win seasons without Derrick Rose

So I think Rose is the main reason they won 62 games that season

Thanks for articulating what i meant, some guys will do anything to discredit D Rose's mvp season

But he really earned it that season

More an indication of how pathetic Thibodeau's offensive system is and how much he relied on Rose for everything on that end.

Rose will be back better than ever, he was the most exciting player to watch 2010-12

The michael vick of the nba

 its whatever

I think this is the season lebrons stats finally take a slight dip

His stats took a slight dip in mia, it cant get any worse in cle since hes gonna have to carry more of the load this season unless they get love

30 7 & 7

5x mvp

If rose is gonna come back better then ever after pretty much sitting 3 seasons out then wade is gonna come back vintage style and avg 26.

Big difference for sure

So many rose haters dudes don't wanna accept he's back at like 95%

The bulls r gunna be problemssss

Big difference between 32 and 25.
There's no difference in two knees injuries tho. Wade only tore his meniscus which is what caused most his problems. I'm not saying he won't get back to his old self I'm not go. a doubt anybody but it's gonna take a while if he still has the same athletic ability he had before

The dude just missed 3 seasons and had 2 knee surgeries how do you know he's back to 95%? Just because somebody says something about roses injuries and says he might not be the same dosent mean there a hater
