CP, be real with me.

If I were to consider moving to Oregon for work would you advise against that?

What part?

It all depends on what you're into.

If you have a child, it can be great. It's mostly safe, the weather is usually decent enough, outside of rain. But it doesn't get to 110, and it doesn't snow for 4 months.

Just, constant rain, or at least threat of it.

The only knock is, it's pretty boring. Not a lot of sites, not a lot of activities, like Cali has. The beaches are meh, the summers are short, we don't have any Disneyland, Magic Mountain type places. It's just a simple lack of options. However, the cost of living is much cheaper than Cali, so if you get a good paying job, you can do well.

Just depends whereabout you're lookin at.

Okay cool, I've been looking at work in the northwest and that's largely what I was expecting to hear.

If you find anything in the Wilsonville/Tualatin/West Linn area, those spots are pretty damn nice. They've grown a lot recently, and are really clean. Growing fast, so the schools are probably getting crowded by now, but still pretty nice.

Beaverton (Nike) Tigard, Aloha, Hillsboro is a little bit older, little further from I-5, more crowded, not as shiny new.

Portland is just ****.

And Salem is small town vibe, for a bigger city, there it just depends where you live. South Salem is nice, North Salem used to be nice, but now is kinda run down.

Well I'm in my early 20s so I don't have any dependents or attachments. I'm hoping to land somewhere that wouldn't be a total bore.

Oregon won't meet that final part of your equation.

It's fairly quiet, lot of bars is about the best we can offer. Maybe some Casinos. There's some skiing, and the coast is ok, but not like SoCal, not by a long shot.

Dudes...

The gym Wiggins is training at is down the street from where I work.

I'm going there after work. Hope he's still in town...

What madness is this?!

You an Oregonian, now?

I don't care how long I live elsewhere, only state I'm attaching 'we' to is Cali.

Are those 12's on your feet in that pic, or 18's? I can't tell. They don't look like 12's, but I don't know any other shoe with the Black/Carolina like the 14's I have. (which I love)

I had about 8-9 diff colorways of the 14's because they were so easy to get back in the day. ES was my friend back then. :pimp:

That's what I was thinkin, but the accent looks diff in Ska's pic. Looks like the entire shoe is suede and doesn't have that ugly rubber along the toe.

Either way, I love those 12's, and have never owned a pair. Before I shut it all down, the only ones I've yet to have are the 12's, and the 15, 16, 17, and 18's. And really, the only 2 of these I wanted were the 12's and 18's, both in the Black and Carolina colorways. Love that scheme. :pimp:
