He followed the trend of Mater Dei kids and transferred (New Mexico).
I think the opposite. It would hurt his development if he's primarily used as a post up option.

Mitch was on Cowherd this morning (it's on ESPN's NBA page):
Says team will have to rely more on defense than offense this upcoming season.
Doesn't want to build through the draft. Could be a "6-8 year process" and too much fan pressure.
Wants to build as quickly as possible.
Reverted to five championships when Cowherd questioned him on whether players want to play with Kobe.
Cowherd predicted around 18 PPG and Mitch says that's realistic.
Buss ownership has final say in decisions, like it always has been.
