I hate to admit it, and most are lethargically naive and numbed with Jesus water.  Kobe is busy transitioning his life after basketball.

Of course he is happy, he's being paid to put on a show.  What I see:

KOBE GOT FAT

KOBE on JESUS WATER

KOBE promoting shoes, tours, ARMOR WATER

KOBE doing ventures off-court

LA management focused on nothing but pure raw kids.

Back then, KOBE would be in the news about BULKING 10-15LB of muscle in the off-season.  Back in the days, he would be CALLING OTHERS FAT.  Back in the days, he would call out management, and be vigilant about it.  Back in the days, he would speak up instantly about Pau and about players.  He would voice his displeasure at the instance.  He would get on management, he would rile guys, and motivate, and push.  Now?  He hasn't displayed one lick of that.

NOW?  NOW?

He don't give a crap, he talks silly, and his fire is died a bit.

Kobe 'could've', that one summer of mistake, that tattoo, that forever changed his life.  And now?  He's lost it, his passion IS and SHOULD be in question.

How the heck can he be satisfied about these moves?  Unless they colluded w/ Mitch and Buss and Jeanie about his 2 year good-bye aka WILLY MAYES run.  The writing seems clearly on the wall though.  The conspiracy is that LA is going to transition forward as a 'rebuild', seems evident by every move LA is doing.

This is truth to me, and I really am disappointed by the lack of drive.  There's no need to smoke-screen stuff.

Whut?

Kobe said last week that he weighs 218 which is a mid season weight for him

Kobe has always promoted shoes and tours etc

Remember when Kobe used to rap?

He doesn't need to cause fiction prematurely with teammates anymore, he's matured

Gonna be a sad ******* year

Dudes so busy rooting for their theories instead of rooting for the actual team on the court, they just wanna be right more than anything else.

I just want my team to win....seems like the natural thing to do.

Only person in the league I see being a cold blooded assassin like the Mamba is Damian Lillard.....maybe KD but he doesn't always step up to the plate!!

Exactly

and we're gonna have dudes doing more complaining about how other guys post, than actually talking about the Lakers. Harping on the problem instead of letting it pass.

We all want the Lakers to be successful. There's gonna be a difference in opinion again. Both sides can learn to just let it be

Dudes already said it , couldn't even come in here last year and post about a win without getting scolded :{....no reason for that at all.

You want the team to lose hey that's on you, but why tell others that's not right or they don't get it when they're just doing what comes natural to the fans ?

I agree, that's how it should be.

If there's a side rooting for wins vs. a side that sees benefit in losing again (and it looks like there will be the way things are going), everyone's just gotta stop calling the opposite side out. We can explain our reasoning without attacking everyone who doesn't agree.

Randle should be on the USA select team he got shafted smh

My whole thing is I want the lakers to either compete for a ring or tanks for a pick. I feel like they're doing neither and that's stupid. It seems like they're just waiting for next offseason and that this year is going to be a true wasted year.

I understand the 'Championship or bust' mentality, but it's like you dudes have developed a new mentality.

It's like you want every year to either produce a championship, or the worst record in the league.

Every year.

We either need Larry O'Brien, or a top 5 talent.

All.

Or nothing.

Doesn't seem realistic, how many teams go from the lottery to the finals ?

There's usually some steps in between, I'm sure there are some exceptions to the rule but that's what they ate exceptions....we can't bank on that.

Gotta go thru the wars before you get the chip (usually)

Nash: 12

Kobe: 22

?(3 that can Dunk)

Boozer: 17

Hill: 10

Kendall: 9

Young: 16

Henry: 8

Julius: 7

Ed Davis: 8

;)

Because mediocre is no man's land.

And it's been TWO seasons we've wanted a top pick.

Two.

We had the #1 picks in 79 and 82. Went for it, from 80-91.

Had to re-group, develop a younger base 92-95. Wise drafts, lottery type pieces in Jones, Peeler, Lynch, home run 2nd round pick in Van Exel.

When you have the talent base, ala 96, then you go for it. We did, til 05.

When we got Bynum, we went thru 2 more poor seasons. Then trade.

We went for it, 08-13.

TWO years, we want talent pool rebuilt, younger, cheaper, deeper, then we go for it. 2015-??

Such an easy thing to see. Folks still all locked up about it. :{
