- padawan: "Daddy, look! Lakers! It said the Lakers, and had the vs., and the Heat! It said tonight! Is it past my bedtime? Or can we watch it?!"

- DarthSka: "Nah, I think we can watch. The Heat are probably going to be the winners, though. :\ "

- padawan: "Because they're the best?"

- DarthSka: "No, but they're really good."

- padawan: "And we're not so good?"

- DarthSka: "Well, bud... ... ...not really. No."

- padawan: "So the Heat are going to win the championship?"

- DarthSka: "Oh, no, no. I said they weren't the best."

- padawan: "But we're DEFINITELY not going to win the championship?"

- DarthSka: "*literally choked on my drink and laughed* No, bud. Definitely not."

- padawan: "Oh. Can I still watch, even if we're the losers?"

- DarthSka: "Of course. The Lakers are still our team, right?"

- padawan: "Right. :smile:"

That conversation just took place after seeing the commercial on ESPN, & I thought I would share it with you guys before what I'm about to do, which is march entirely and all the way into the office of one Mitch.

Fix.

This.

Lin=Trash

Young= Trash

Hopefully young is the only one back but if we could trade him for a #2 at roscoes, I'd be good.

I have had the same conversation with my daughter.

I have been taking her to Laker games since she can remember.

Hell her first game was the playoffs in 06 when Kobe hit the game winner Vs. PHX.

She asks me why do we keep losing....I told her because we have too.

She said well I don't like this....and I want them to win.

I told her soon....

Mitch don't make me a lair.

Lin is gone after the season.. Or at least he better be

Only guys who should be back that are not under contract next year:

1. Ed Davis
2. Jordan Hill (if Ed Davis is too expensive because Hill will get less)
3. Wayne Ellington (for the $1.7mil room exception)

Which prospect (Okafor, Mudiay, Russell, Towns) is the best fit for Lakers?

Chad Ford

They need help everywhere. So the answer is all of the above. Jahlil Okafor is still, by a much smaller margin than before, the consensus No. 1 pick in the draft. But Karl-Anthony Towns, Emmanuel Mudiay and D'Angelo Russell are all right there. In my current Lottery Mock Draft (which we just updated today) I have the Lakers going 1. Okafor 2. Mudiay 3. Town 4. Russell.

Second time I've read that Mudiay is this high on the Lakers board.

Clarkson v. Dragic :pimp:

Jordan has been showing the front office that they don't need to look for a pg this summer. I want to see him cook

I'm going to panic if I hear Mudiay over Towns Laker rumors. :lol:

Really happy seeing 33 year old Carlos Boozer playing instead of 23 year old Tarik Black during a lost season with 20 games to go. Really ******* smart. :stoneface:
