2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

Alabama isn't faster than ND? You kidding me man? Lol.

Whatever dude
speed had nothing to do with NDs front seven not getting off blocks, missing tackles, and getting zero pressure in the backfield.  but you right.  they've never seen this type of "speed" before.

You're just a clown who stay posting the stupidest ****....a lot of irony about being a groupie since you seem to only be around when things are good...very broad like if you ask me....gump

Wrong again clown but ok. Clearly you're perturbed. E-thugs man.

Umm no. And no.
Same Louisville team who lost to UCONN and Cuse?
Same FSU team that lost to NC State? :lol
Neither one of them is beating ND this year.
Stop overreacting. Yes ND got thrashed tonight, but they still had some impressive wins this year and were a really good team. They beat Stanford (barely) and Stanford is much better than FSU or Louisville

ND barely beat Pitt, barely beat BYU, barely beat Purdue, and if Matt Barkley was healthy that SC game would have been different. Louisville beat Florida so yea I put my money on them against ND. Florida st also beat Clemson (who beat LSU) so yea I put money on them against ND also. There is a reason why ND won't play in a conference my friend

Every team struggles with somebody they shouldn't have on the road to NC's.
Nobody gets to 12-0 without having at least 1 close call.
When Miami won 34 straight and was being called the greatest team ever they even had a couple close games against weak teams.

I agree. You're going to be tested but I just don't buy the hype. 12-0 is a great accomplishment but I just think they would have lost at least 1. So much riding on conference games.

I haven't kept up too well, how exactly is the college playoff working next season?

Seriously though why is your jimmy rustled. Recruiting class doesn't matter when evaluating a team going into a new season? You don't think ND will be top 10 given their season this year, the majoirty of their team coming back, the ND mystique and the nice class they are bring in? Where is the stupid **** being posted? All bent out of shape for no reason :lol

LOL if you think that's the reason we don't play in a conference :lol

Going into the new season? Hell no...it's about returning talent mixed in w/ players who redshirted or barely played that year....maybe some freshman contribute but it ain't gonna determine a preseason ranking...this ain't Kentucky basketball

AJ Mccaron won tho

Screw playing in conference, I wish the NCAA would put a rule in place where instead of playing a few cupcakes a year, everyone BCS bowl eligible school has to play other top talent.

Lets say you have every team play 12 games. 8 conference games. 4 games against multiple other conferences. But it has to be a team that finished with the same conference ranking. So lets say Bama for example. They finished 1st so they have to go and play the top Pac 12, Big 12, B1G, ACC, Big East teams of the other conferences not mentioned.

I know it'll change the landscape entirely but to me that's the best way to see whose playoff worthy.

ND can still keep some of their rival games but it should go along with the system.

I agree with this, it may have to be tweaked a little bit but it would be a great start

that would absolutely kill the smaller schools who rely on fat paychecks they get for getting rolled by top programs though

I understand them wanting to gain money for the school but damn is it worth sending those kids out there to get slaughtered? :lol :{

These teams play tough conference schedules, I get that. Something has to give.

These schools are about money. Imagine Week 2 next year watching Ohio State vs Bama. Florida vs Oregon. :smokin

Ratings baby!

Te'O reminds me of a upgraded Rey Maualuga. Not getting off blocks, wiffing on tackles :{

It took awhile for Rey to adjust to the NFL, but Teo wasn't in the same league in College. Rey was a beast in college, just raw.

Anyone shocked by Teo getting worked probably didn't see the USC game. Dude got worked the entire game, then got a gift INT so the hype train kept rolling out the station. Teo robbing all those awards from Jarvis Jones this year, dude should be incarcerated.

RKO- Been saying that for a hot minute now, more interconference games have to happen in order for this "playoff" to gain any credibility. 8 game conference schedules, 4 games non conference, at least 2 of those can be cupcakes but 2 have to be against another BCS opponent. No if's or buts. No more than 7 home games either.

Some form of uniformity needs to happen.

Um we still waiting on him to adjust. Wish the Bengals got a warranty on him. I want him gone. :{

I guess Rey is a cool dude and he tries but sometimes I question whats really in his gatorade bottle. Plays like he's drunk.

That pic is from media day two years ago. Made the rounds two years ago. Resurfaced two months ago... Late is an understatement.

I give CLK one mo' year.

RKO- I don't follow the Bungles closely but isn't he regarded as the leader if that D. Mans the middle and has tons if tackles? Confused I is.
