Theirs nothing to explain he didnt play, gs loss, whats the point in bringing it up
The point is you saying it doesnt matter whether he played or not and others saying it wont matter that ibaka isnt playing. Like they're brian scalabrine or something

It doesnt matter if they're playing because as a basketball team they have to move on, cant have just in case excuses if you lose the series
Would the teams chances have been better if respective players played or will play? all im getting at. Not trying to make excuses for either

In all seriousness, no fanboy stuff here. The reason the Heat keep winning is because of the way they execute down the stretch. I think it is going to be very difficult for any team no matter who they are, will all have a very hard time stopping the Heat during the last 5 mins of the 4th qt in the playoffs. looking back at game 5 Vs the bulls in 2011. (Obviously excluding the NBA finals where they didn't, the only time they haven't in 2 years) game 7 Vs Boston in 2012, game 2 Vs thunder in 2012 NBA finals. Game 7 Vs. pacers 2013, game 6 and 7 Vs Spurs in 2013, game 4, and 5 Vs Nets 2014. These are all games where the heat stepped up their offense and defense in order to win games. It's as if any time a team is close the heat turn it up when they want too. I'm pretty sure we will see more of it as we continue on this year.

“@EyeOnBasketball: Report: Kevin Ollie wants more than Steve Kerr money to jump to NBA http://cbsprt.co/QTab8O”

That kerr deal f'd it up for alot of GM's moving forward :{

Thanks for this article, good info, if his salary ONLY doubles from 1.25 I think NBA snatches him up. Ollie is worth more than 2.5mil as a college coach. I was surprised to see that Bayheim only makes 1.8. There are a few coaches(Bayheim included) who need new agents or managers to negotiate them a deal.

GSW aka the IF-TERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS. "IF" Bogut was healthy they probably would have gotten the 5th seed and not even play the clippers. Get over it they lost
hahahahaha! Ah man I'm dying over here! LMAO @ the IF-tern Conf Champs. Nice man, very clever!

i feel bad for tp & the spurs, that hamstring will be a problem for the rest of the playoffs, hamstring is no joke, especially the way he plays

Nobody has even brought this up. I wasn't going to either for I hope he is healthy to make for a better series. If I was a betting man, I'd bet he limps through the whole series.

Hopefully the Serge injury leads to more lineups featuring Reggie/Russ in the backcourt & Durant at the 4. Put Collison/Adams at the 5 & run, run, run.

Does anyone trust Scott Brooks to make effective lineup adjustments without Ibaka?

He's not very creative. He'll literally just plug Collison or Adams into Serge's minutes. He pretty much scripts most of the time and doesn't like to deviate.

This is what I expect him to do, which is why I think the Spurs will win. Perk & Collison/Adams do not need to be sharing the floor for any extended period of time. This isn't Memphis with 2 bigs who can give you 20 on the block. You can get away with Durant at the 4 against San Antonio.

None of those 3 guys can handle big minutes without being in foul trouble which means more FTs for the Spurs, & none of them need to be guarded beyond the immediate basket area.

Playing 2 of those 3 together puts immense pressure on Russ & KD offensively. At least Ibaka's 15 footers were kind of a security blanket if the paint was shut off or a defender was draped on Russ/KD.

Without him, those guys are gonna have to force up a lot more contested shots.

Miami will take down Indiana in 5 or 6 IMO... depending on the play of the Pacers. If they play as inconsistent as they did against Washington this series won't even be close. If Hibbert is scoreless in games against the small ball Heat, they have no chance

If Haslem slows him down by pushing him waaaay out of the paint like he did in the last matchup, thats a 5 game series.

If Roy sacks up & goes for 23 ppg again, then it'll go the full 7. Then the series hinges on which Wade we see.

Why does everyone keep talking about which Wade were gonna see..

Dude has been playing excellent ball in the playoffs, took the whole season off, I think he's fine.

Dude has been playing excellent ball in the playoffs.

Before game 5 he was averaging 16 ppg on 48% shooting. That is not going to get it done. That is certainly not "excellent ball" for a max salary player, nor is that excellent ball based on his previous standard of play. Struggling to score 20 a night while not being able to slow down the other team's SG is simply not enough.

Wade was outplayed by a fringe all star in that Brooklyn series. This is a guy who's supposed to be a HOF.

He was spectacular in game 5 and they'll need him to play at that level if they want to 3 peat.

And they have only lost 1 game in the playoffs, I think he knows what he's doing.

And they have only lost 1 game in the playoffs.
Their previous wins against inferior competition mean absolutely nothing.

If Wade continues to struggle scoring 20 a night, while getting outplayed by fringe all stars Miami will not win.

If he looks like he did in game 5, Miami's chances are much better.

Which is why I said "It depends on which Wade we see."

I thought by this time everyone knew I only posted the fanboy like to annoy Laker fans and Lebron haters.
Lol
I know it's annoying but I like annoying laker fans because back in 09 and 2010, they gave me HELL!

RT @MySportsLegion: Mark Jackson has reached a multi-year deal w/ ESPN to return as an NBA game analyst. Jackson will work the Eastern Conference & NBA Finals.
