J.J. Redick was still emotional this morning. Said he was weeping as he was talking to his wife over breakfast.

J.J. Redick: "You wait your whole life to play with a group of guys like that and you hope that's the group you end up winning with."

You're the man, JJ. I'm sorry I hated you when you were at Duke. Hope you retire a Clipper.

That blame Donald sterling article has to be one of the stupidest articles I've ever read.

Im just surprised no reporter has had the balls to call doc rivers, Chris Paul, or Blake Griffin out on their fake outrage over the sterling situation.

The housing discrimination stuff was way worse then any ignorant thing sterling said in that phone call. Those dudes were content overlooking certain bad qualities of sterling as long as the checks were right, and they were playing in a desirable market.

i can't respect anyone trying to use sterling as a cop out for the clippers losing to a team that had a better record then them and home court advantage.

speaking of the bulls, no one said anything when they got bounced out the 1st round by a team they coukdnt sell out their arena.

I'd rather lose to a contender than an inexperienced team

Remember when Steve Nash made the WCF with a team of Shawn Marion, Raja Bell, Leandro Barbosa, Tim Thomas, Boris Diaw and James Jones?

I kept scrolling though the pages to see if CP had responded but no luck :lol

Question.

If Indiana wins this series somehow, does that taint LeBron's legacy in any way?

Losing to a team with that much turmoil and horrific offensive play... Bad look? Or nah cause he already won 2 in a row?

I honestly don't know.
I'm just wondering what you guys think.

Nah I wouldn't say so. I know people will be posting utter nonsense if that does happen but this is still a pretty high class defense. Plus, I'm still counting on the toll of all the deep playoff runs in Miami + the Olympics showing this year.

KD isn't a superstar.
CP3 should've gotten NOH past LAL in 2011.
Brooks > Thibs.
Coaching in general doesn't really matter.
2014 Pau Gasol > 2014 Blake Griffin

Says someone else has "consistently garbage opinions."

Not a troll though :lol

I hate to laugh at LTB but that was hilarious :lol I was stunned on this side thinking I was wrong about OKB.

I really doubt any of the players or coaches are using it as an excuse. Probably a case of media people asking questions like, "the ownership situation must have impacted you, right?" Doc and the players know they just got beat.

Because no one had any expectations for Chicago without Rose. Maybe make the second round and give a good fight.

Dude crying into his Cheerios :lol

I'm sure he's eating fancy organic Cheerios

Finally caught up on the thread, props to @Chester McFloppy, @Seymore CAKE and the rest of the CP0 slander brigade.

So much revisionist history and plain out lies being told here in the aftermath of Cliff Paul's less talented twin.

Nobody ever mentioned Chris Paul as a top 3 player? I must have just imagined going back to 2008 where he was better than Kobe and Bron and deserved the MVP over them. Or in subsequent years 2009 and 2010 where it was some form of LBJ, Kobe and CP3 as being the top 3 players. And recently LBJ, KD, and CP3... That didn't happen?

OKC had the better team now? Even @shoeking2101 said on multiple occasions that OKC had the 2 best players but the Clippers overall had the better team. Hell they didn't even have Ibaka for the entire 4th quarter last night. Just go back to the predictions before the series started and read the nonsense, it's all there.

The whole true PG needs to stop, it's been a farce for way too long. It's LBJ a true PF in the traditional sense? No but he's unstoppable at that position. Same with Russ, deal with it.

I'm curious what more would the Clippers need to be a true championship contender for those that say they aren't good enough right now.

I feel that, I just feel a certain way about those guys since they knew about sterlings track record and then acted all surprised when everything game out. Especially Doc having played there in the 90's.

Its a tougher situation for the guys with no leverage and no many options to choose from team wise though , ill admit that.

Heat in 6

Spurs in 6

who wins in the finals.

i say Spurs in 6. SRS
Spurs in 6 is what I have also.

Not sure if srs 6 though?!?
Very much so. I'm feeling like Miami would be 5 at this point, I lik,e the matchup that much/

Really? .....you like this yrs matchup better than last yrs Finals Why is that? Same players and Wade fell off a bit compared to last yrs finals everybody else still the same

any update on serge ibaka.
i missed the play, what happened? i just know they kept saying calf. was it non-contact?

I had OKC beating Memphis in 7 and the Clippers in 6.

So, I'm sorry DatZ, but it ends here. Spurs in 6. :p

Nah. JJ strikes me as a health freak. Probably was an egg white omelette with spinach, kale and tomato.
I always pictured him as a binging alcoholic who is really into yoga

But MVP MVP your favorite coach was going to elevate the Clippers, remember? The greatness that is Doc had CP3, Blake, and DJ on that path, your words, remember? So not sure why you'd be goin so heavy on CP3 now. 8o

As much as I would like for this to be KD's year, I wouldnt be surprised if the Spurs straight run through them.
