Damn :lol there is a drop-off

I was about to say NBA is more positionless than ever. It's basically wings and bigs. A lot of these great "PGs" are combo guards now (Russ, Curry, Rose, Lillard) they aren't PGs in the traditional sense.

MJ, Kobe, Wade, Logo, Iceman, AI, Clyde, Reggie, Ray, Earl Monroe, David Thompson, Gail Goodrich, Manu, Pistol Pete, T-Mac, VC, Sam Jones, Hal Greer...if you're going in the traditional 2 position, looks like almost all HOFers to me and depth as well.

Yeah but Mitch Richmond, Mullin, Hornacek, Harper, and to a lesser extent Joe Dumars are filler when you talk about the 2 guard position and kind of add to the notion that it lacks depth historically

This guy at my local gym brings 10-14 year olds from the Caribbean that are already 6'2+ and turns everyone of them into a combo guard. That's AAU ball in a nutshell. Take your best scorer and make him your PG

he was ghost in the finals. last year no one expected him to win but he didnt have a good series either, people started talking about how he's overrated/not as effective in the playoffs. gets the best center in the league this year, lays two eggs at home to start this years playoffs

the overrated talk is warranted. throwing regular season numbers around isnt going to change anyone's minds, its the playoffs and hes the worst player on the floor

I didn't throw out a single regular season stat :lol I said he sucked in the Finals, but he played well until that point. Didn't have a good series last year? other than his FG% what was bad about his series? 26, 6.7, 4.5 isn't good? :lol Oh.. he had 4.5 turnovers too.. THAT must be what was bad about his series.

Just say you don't like Harden and we can move on. Because you're not making sense otherwise. I haven't denied he's sucked so far, don't know why you keep mentioning this year. I said he struggled in the Finals.. but he was solid other than that.. and he was 22. And I don't know how he didn't have a good series last year. Other than TOs and FG% he was good.

He did this with Chris Paul the other day. You my friend, just fell into the trap.

if someone is playing bad when expected to play bad (by the fans) they will get called out for it, whats so hard to understand about this

bad assist/turnover ratio, shooting % last year his stats were give a talented player the ball every time and he will get his numbers stats.

2nd best sg in the league, 4th best player in the league and you dont expect people to call him out on playoff noshows? stop trying to find a silver lining for every player that is hated on in here and just accept that some players just are not that good.

I mean I named 18 names and forgot Joe Dumars and Bill Sharman (HOFers) and Mitch Richmond who will be in the HOF as well. VC and T-Mac are borderline HOFers and that's 20 players deep at least. I'd say it's actually one of the strongest positions historically right after center.

I'm interested to know how you're so confident :lol
What do you see changing

Aldrige starts missing.

Actually could happen tbh

Basic logic tells me Aldridge can't realistically stay this hot, and harden can't stay this cold. However, we basically have to win 4 out of 5. I don't have that much faith in McHale honestly. At the end of the day, we've played them pretty straight up, and they've just made a few more shots. What can you really do about that?

PF SG SF PG C

KG Kobe Barry Frazier Walton
TD Wade Baylor Magic Wilt
Barkley West Bird Oscar Robertson Russel
McHale Mcgrady Erving Nash Shaq
Nowitski AI Lebron Kidd David Robinson
Malone Durant Isiah Olawjuwan
Pettit Paul Shaq
Moses
Gilmore

^ guyys who were at one point arguably the best player in the league.

(arguably is the key word, im being genrous at each position so don't start flaming me ) still feel like SG is the weakest.

They could start doubling L.A more but them blazer boys could shoot. They might end up getting blown out
