I've always been hesistant waiting until the last minute to get tickets off of stubhub. I feel like I would miss out, even though I dont go to any "primetime" games.
I always pull the trigger too early because I'm nervous like that.

Last two games I went to where I bought in the morning, I checked an hour before I went and could have saved 75-100 bucks or gotten much better seats for the same price.  Granted, the weather was pretty bad both days.

I got tickets to game 7 of the NLCS in 2012 at around 11 that day, tix started at around $100 but slow rised till I pulled the trigger at around $140ish

Damn you guys are really missing out on a big part of sports if you don't enjoy being haters.

Just try out the dark side.

(actually you're all clearly lying, you know you hate certain players/teams and enjoy when they lose)

"Because...  What else is there?  In life?"

I mean obviously there's players you dislike. That's the case for anything. But I can honestly say I don't hate any players, not even Chris Paul :lol

Well "hate" doesn't mean the same thing in sports as in life.

In life, "hate is a strong word", as my 5th grade teacher always used to say.

if OKC makes

crazy how big market teams sell out at 10X the price when small market teams are probably willing to do unspeakable things to fans just to get them to sit and watch in the arena
Well, when you think about it it's just one in a long series of things that is obscenely expensive in NY, LA, SF compared to everywhere else.

Everything in Memphis & Oklahoma is probably dirt cheap.

Same time, it's just first round and it's just Memphis. When we made the finals in 2012, I sold my game 1 and 2 tickets for $1250 each. 96$ face value cost to me (102QQ, 56$ reg season, goes up 10 per round).

Everybody who was at game 1 and 2 of the 2012 finals paid a grip to be there, except for the season ticket memebers hwo held down their own seat but then they lost in opportunity costs. I was in Atlanta anyways so had to sell mine, but even if I wasn't I would rather take the money and watch from home

Let me clarify, I don't think I actively root for any players to fail, unless they're playing my team.

My friend got two tickets that are right at the start of the upper level for $20 combined to the Pacers-Hawks game in Atlanta. He got some type of student discount since he goes to Georgia State.

Them clamps by TA last night on the best scorer in the game. :hat

Durant going to have nightmares about ruined post up oppourtunities.

He's not going to be able to do that every game though.

I think Allen is the best wing defender I've seen. Made Jamal Crawford completely disappear in the playoffs last year.

You close your eyes during the 90's?

What I meant was, "I think Allen is the best perimeter defender I've seen that's currently playing." But I don't think he's far off the level of guys like Pippen, etc.

Ok, yes, that I can get with. Thought you forgot who Scottie was for a minute is all. Carry on.

CLAMPS!

I haven't seen that defense from TA in quite some time. He was either injured, wasn't himself because he was coming off the bench or just playing like a wild man on the court without thinking. This is a game (including Game 1) where I got a chance to see the old TA. Give him ONE job and that's to focus on shutting down an offensive player. NOTHING ELSE. If you do that, he will listen :lol . If you just allow him to get in the court with no real objective, he will be all over the damn place.

OKC needs to do a better job of getting kd the ball in spots where he can score, a lot of TA's defense is ball denial

if KD can get the ball at his spots no one can stop him

hopefully he puts on some weight over the off season so defenders cant push him around as much

KD isn't getting the ball in his spots unless he brings the ball up and that'd wear him down completely.
