Memphis Grizzlies  guard Nick Calatheswill be suspended 20 games for violating the league's anti-drug policy, Yahoo! Sports  reported Friday night.

The suspension will take effect immediately, according to the website, meaning the team will be without Calathes when it opens its first-round Western Conference playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder  on Saturday night.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Calathes tested positive for Tamoxifen, a banned substance found in a supplement he had been taking. There was no evidence of any testosterone or performance-enhancing drugs in his test results, the report said.

Calathes averaged 4.9 points and 2.9 assists for the Grizzlies during the regular season.

I thought it was fantastic, and I was born in '88.

Reminded me of how much I love the NBA.  I love how hard it is to win a title and how much work you have to put in to get there.  It's a multi-year process with so much failure along the way.  Unlike every other sport imo.
