Nick Calathes suspended 20 games for violating the anti-drug policy
what he take?

Tamoxifen.....

but not to get too deep into this, the drug is in the same line as what Manny Ramerez took (women's fertility drug) and got suspended for. Use those two together and you have a great post-cycle therapy coming off a cycle.

Google its more common name, Nolvadex...

Basically, Calathes is Rashard Lewis/Hedo Turkoglu

@LiCeNseD To BaLL  sorry buddy

Rashard and Hedo are clutch team hall of famers though...

Those steroids did wonders.

Just hit me some say they'll be a 30 for 30 on the big 3 in miami lol

Gonna be cool to look back

What does Tamoxifen do? Because Hedo, Shard, and OJ were all on DHEA which is indicated to increase testosterone. Nothing I am reading about Tamoxifen seems like a desired effect, in fact much the opposite. Unless he has breast cancer. Is it an estrogen inhibitor? Still seems weird for him to be taking

Good thing we picked up Udrih or we really would've been doomed.

So, if the Grizzlies lose I can say "we didn't have Calathes". :p

its something you take after your done taking steroids.

so no idea if he actually took steroids prior or what... 8o

Yo Craig Sager :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

"My favorite time of year – city to city, round by round, 40 games in 40 nights. A dramatic turn has matched me with acute myeloid leukemia. From the sidelines to being sidelined, 40 veins and 40 electrolytes. Too bad, I had some probing questions for Pop."

Really would like to see a 30 for 30 on the early 2000's Lakers man. That would be super dope to me.

Yep, when you take a steroids/test/prohoromone your testosterone levels sky rockets. As a natural response, the body releases more estrogen to balance the newly increased test levels. But once you end the cycle, test levels will drop quick since you ain't injecting the substance anymore, but it will take way longer for your body to react to this and reduce estrogen levels. So to aid in this, you take the tamoxifen, (usually Nolvedex) to help block the increased release of estrogen and bring the levels down.

Sometimes to further push this, by taking a women's fertility drug (my earlier Manny Rameriz reference); think opposite of steroids by loading up in artificial estrogren, to promote testosterone production

Still don't understand how juicing helps basketball players.

2003 draft would be pretty cool.

I wonder if ESPN will have the guts to lay it all out there with the Sonics situation.

The sonics leaving / emergence of durant
I will be pissed if they make that.

ESPN/Simmons would be straight trolling by combining the Sonics leaving and OKC becoming contenders

Plus there is already Sonicsgate.

Brandon Roy

The Malace and the 03 draft has so much potential. Would pay money to watch these. They have to make these happen

Fall out from 2004 Olympics
That would be nice, they could probably fit how Colangelo and Coach K came to the program shortly thereafter; the stumble in '06 and the rise of USAB leading up to the '16 Olympics, all in 2 hours
