Remeber your max contract is based on your years of experience, so 15 mil is a steep paycut for a player with over a decade of experience like Melo. I'll believe it when I see it
When the Miami trio did it, the 14 mil they agreed to wasn't too far off of what a 7 year vet is allowed to get on a max deal.

I don't think Melo is headed to the bulls with how Rose's knees have been acting up. That combined with ownership not wanting to go into the tax. I could see him go to Houston tho.
Imagine if he took less than the max, and the big 3 in Miami took less as well and they all got together...

Rose or no Rose. Bulls are a good team without him. Add Melo to the mix without Rose. and they are a much better team.
Rose will be back, who knows if he will be a superstar but yall act like dude will look like a d-league scrub
