if Jeremy Lin fakes injuries when ever big zbo comes around then it sure is
Not sheriff srs.
Quake ain't back down from nobody. You saw how he did PJ Tucker
See that's the thing people don't understand. It's more so him not being able to get easier quality shots than him falling in love with the 3. He hoist 3's and long 2's because he can't dribble and create well enough to get much better.
no. what you said was that KD was a better facilitator than russell westbrook.

lebron's points created are greater than KD's too. isn't creating points for teammates, the epitome of what facilitating is?
as in his dribble game isn't good enough to penetrate and get those looks?

ok Hollinger. obviously Durant has only been facilitating for half a season and last year's playoffs. His approach to facilitating is way better than Westbrook's. Westbrook over the course of his career is predicated off penetrating as opposed to being a floor general and getting all of his teammates looks. When KD was running the show, he got his guys looks in spots they like. None of this will show up on any stat sheet.
i guess i have to keep frontloading my comments with praise, so guys arent picking apart smaller points of my statement too. I've gone on record saying Westbrook has gotten better over the course of his career doing it. KD got noticeably better after doing it for a playoff series.
as a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised at the stats you posted because KD was passing the ball to everybody including fisher and Perk when they were playing. They are bums, but when you get everybody involved and find guys shots that they like it just makes them play better overall. On both ends of the floor. Look at Miami. now that Russ is back, they're still dangerous as a team, but you dont see the role players flourishing nearly as much.
Sure passing to bums that arent knocking down their shots at a high rate doesnt come up great on the Hollinger stat sheet of analysis, but it comes up in the win loss column, which KD and company was making happen with Russ out. and he was only going to get better facilitating as he did it more. Lebron has played facilitator all his life. although im not sure why Lebron came into this convo I've never said KD's approach to facilitating was better than Lebron's.
and just got a bunch of folks squirming out of debates.
wow down goes duke
OUCHHHHHH
i remember Clip fans going crazy when they won that divison title, you woulda thought they won the championship
so you make an unsubstantiated claim, other than your own "eye test", i refute your claim with tangible statistics, and then you make more unsubstantiated claims.

why was he gone?
CertifiedFlyBoi showing why his presence wasn't missed in this thread.
Your stats are really, really out of context. First, Westbrook is the PG - naturally, the offense forces him to pass more. He's bringing it up court and making the first pass every time - that's going to lead to assists just off the fact he's making so many passes. Second, a bunch of his passes are to Durant - not all of which Westbrook is directly creating. KD is definitely boosting up those assist numbers. He's one of the best overall scorers in the league. Spotting up, coming off screens, off one or two dribbles - all of that helps him get assists. Not only will he turn an open shot into a bucket more than almost anyone else in the league but if RW passes to him, KD can create his own shot and still get him the assist better than anyone in the league. On the flip side, RW definitely doesn't help Durant with his assists because he's not a great spot up shooter and he dribbles a lot to create his own shot.
They have different roles in the offense so comparing them using these stats is just silly.
Stats are awesome. But using them in this context is just using them wrong.
Does Jabari Parker's stock drop after that game?
imlive, zyzz and cfb all on one page
