True. But they could have given the keys to MCW and not bother signing Jennings.

Yea sure that makes sense but Dumars

Plus they would have still had Knight who I don't think he would've moved for anything other than another PG

D rose needs to forfeit that money and void his contract then sign for 5 mil a year or something. About time joe d is gone, people all around our city are rejoicing

There's no way Dumars should've left Melo, Bosh, and Wade on the board like that. They're scouting department should've been fired as soon as Stern said "With the 2nd pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, the Detroit Pistons select Darko Milicic from Serbia and Montenegro" ...

Him not picking Bosh is worse than Melo IMO

But like I said, I don't think y'all know how high everybody thought Darko ceiling was

Y'all don't wanna give him no credit for drafting Drummond when everybody else didn't see it

A lot of scouts were on Darko hard.. it wasn't just the Pistons who valued him highly. Tbh dude did have talent, he just didn't have the confidence to play in the NBA which is something that's hard to predict when you're drafting a guy.

The moves Dumars has made since are worse. That awful contract to Charlie Villanueva, Josh Smith signing, etc

you do know, its been said a million times. If Bron wasnt in the draft Darko was going #1 right?

he looked amazing in europe and his athleticism if you looked at any of his old stuff prior to the draft.

He definitely gets credit for Drummond and Monroe ..

I definitely agree with the Bosh over Melo statement ..

What I saw from Melo & Bosh at the ABCD camps was pretty impressive and led me to believe they would be succeed in the NBA (didn't expect superstars though). What I saw from Darko's highlights in 2002 led me to believe he was "Nikoloz Tskitishvili" all over again. :{

And Cleveland would've been just as dumb as Dumars or whoever else thought Darko's game was going to transistion well in the league. Everybody wanted the next Dirk though so I can't fault them too much.

Dirk and Darko weren't comparable though.

Outside of being European.

So if that's what you meant, then yea.

But Darko was just so impressive. It was literally the best workout I've ever seen. I've seen hundreds and it was the best. When you have a 7-1 kid, who is 17 years old, doing the things he was doing, it was a "wow" moment, especially for a team that needed a big man.There was just a buzz afterward." Joe Dumars even went all out and said, "he's better than Dirk. He's going to be an absolute stud." - Joe Dumars

She need to let Drummond be great, he out here putting up career highs and she thinks he's out here leaking pictures? :lol

From the people I know that know the guy, that ain't even in his character.

Them 20 rebound games though

Andre The Giant :hat
She probably leaked her own pics

Drummond's been a beast lately

Dwight Howard 2.0

The Nuggets said they would have taken Darko if they had their choice.

Also, if we're talking with the benefit of hindsight, doesn't Wade clearly go over Melo in retrospect?

Without a doubt

You could make an argument health wise but on the court Wade in his prime was the best SG on defense and second best on offense

Dre needs to learn from Vale. Handle your business then move on. Not even Chipotle burritos for these jersey chasers, even if Jennette is a name in the younger community.

Dumars should've been done

Traded Afflalo for peanuts, traded for AI, gave Rip a fat contract, turned around and gave Charlie V and Gordon fat contracts, finally manages to get rid of Ben at the expense of a 1st round pick, turns around and uses that cap space to give Josh Smith a fat contract :{

That pick stunk a full year later just as it still stinks 10 years after the fact.
