This...is great :rollin :rollin

That's like two people, who are fat as hell, and one says "You're fatter then me" when they are both at least 50 pounds overweight :lol

If you consistently flop, then you're a flopper. That's that :lol

He doesn't need a lot of help. He needs some help. There's no redeeming qualities about any of the players or the coach around Melo at this moment. He's playing with a team on the level of LeBron's Cavs.

So, if there are no redeeming qualities about ANY of the players/coaches around Melo, wouldn't you say he needs A LOT of help?

Team needs to be gutted. It's a mess from top to bottom.
In that sense, yeah. I took it more as a slight to his abilities. He doesn't need to go to Miami and join the Super Friends to win as some are basically suggesting.

Problem with gutting this team is you'll always have to deal with Dolan. He's the biggest problem and he's not selling the team anytime soon.

I can see a lot of people don't seem to understand that beating the best for a ring and joining the best for one are two different things. I'm only saying if he went to MIA it wouldn't be the same. Not anywhere else. If Karl Malone won with LA it wouldn't have been the same as winning in Utah. Get it now?

Only fans sit back, debate and make a big deal out of this kind of thing. I'm fairly certain Malone would have found joy in winning that ring had they won in LA or he wouldn't have signed with them to begin with. For the upper echelon players winning that championship is an extremely big deal.

I'm sure Melo isn't trying to be co-hosting Inside the NBA in 20 years getting clowned by his co hosts Bron Bron & Top 10 PG Dead or Alive Chalmers about being ringless. You can see the hurt in Chucks eyes whenever Shaq & Jet start their ring talk.

The M in DMV stands for Maryland. Last time I checked Baltimore is in Maryland. What planet are you from?
This is how I can tell your corny *** from Mo County or something.

I was born and raised in DC. DMV is the DC/MD/VA METROPOLITAN AREA

Baltimore in NOT in that area. That would be like somebody from VA beach claiming DMV.

Ask anybody on this board actually from Baltimore or Richmond/757 and they will say the same thing.

We're all fans! I'm not in here debating this with NBA players. Sure it'll mean something to him. As a fan I'm saying I would hold him winning in Utah in higher regard than LA. Same with Melo. Joining MIA would be as impressive as him beating them.

You taking and breaking down the phrase DMV is corny. I'm from PG champ. Baltimore is closer to me than VA is. Let's change the name to DMVMA then. Your taking it TOO seriously.

As unpopular of an opinion as this is, I really do think Melo can win as a first option.

He just actually has to join a team that compliments him and is built around him.

He isn't a prime Dwight, or a Lebron, or a CP3 who can go anywhere and turn teams into contenders. But if a team is actually built around him and compliments him, then I think that would be a recipe for success for Melo.

:lol man...EVERYONE knows B-More isn't part of the DMV.

What part of PG are you from that B-More is closer to you than VA?

*If Melo does leave, Chicago might be the best landing spot for him.

He'd be the #1 scoring option off the bat. D.Rose would be returning, and let's be real...he'll be a different type of PG from here on out. Not saying he's going to be completely pass-first, but I highly doubt that we'll see the guy averaging 25ppg, or anything along those lines. Life would be 10x easier for him and the rest of the crew with Melo in the fold.

I'm all over. Forestville originally. It just depends on where I'm at. TBH I always thought the DMV thing was corny. Only reason I felt we use the phrase is to get attention in the music business. We couldn't break through on our own so we teamed up. That's how Wale from PG & MO County can claim DC without any negative feedback.

We're having the "where is Melo really from" discussion again, huh? Sweet.
