Kevin Love, Steve Nash, and Kobe. Yep, can't wait for Love to build a time machine and prove everyone wrong.

Pekovic and Kevin Martin aren't playing bruh, they've missed a ton of games. Budinger missed damn near the entire seasonThose teams are all high seeds and contenders, the Timberwolves can't even stay at .500.According to NT, Kevin Garnett isn't a winner either? Because he played for that same Minnesota franchise and missed the playoffs three years in a row, IN HIS PRIME. And I don't mean barely missed the playoffs, those were like 30-win teams. Yet once he got a team around him, he started experiencing some success and the narrative changed..
Don't understand this 'winner' stuff, at least not when it comes to someone like Kevin Love. The dude is obviously an amazing player, he can rebound like no other and score from anywhere. If you put the right team around a player like that you can go far.
I mean let's look at the facts.. Blake Griffin is playing with a HOFer, LMA is playing with an All-Star PG, Bosh is playing with two HOFers, Love is playing with... *crickets*
Where are his All-Stars at???
That's why I hope he goes to the Lakers, do what you need to do Kevin. And people forget he's only 25, his career is just beginning. When he's 35 with some rings under his belt, all these same people are gonna be saying "Kevin Love I always knew he was a great player man"
I'm not saying that Minnesota should be contending with Love, just that they should be contending for a playoff spot.
Pekovic, Rubio, Kevin Martin, Budinger, Barea... these are not bad players. They aren't stars, but they're starters on many teams in the league (okay maybe not Barea).
I'm not going to become captain of the anti-Love team, he's obviously a very good player. I honestly forgot Pekovic was still injured.Pekovic and Kevin Martin aren't playing bruh, they've missed a ton of games. Budinger missed damn near the entire season
Rubio is arguably in the bottom half of starting PGs. Barea is awful, he is shooting 40% from the field. Their bench a bunch of useless scrubs. How can anyone possibly try to pass this off as a good team
Love has a massive +/- differential, ie his team completely falls apart when he's not on the floor. That isn't a good team at all.
And they would be competing for a playoff spot, if they were in the East. What team in the Western conference should the Wolves be ahead of? All the teams ahead of them either have multiple All-Star caliber players, have much more depth, or have been significantly more healthy than Minnesota.
You may not be the captain, but you are definitely a starter on the anti-Love team. The way you try to pass of the trash that he has on his team as serviceable is ridiculous. Even if they weren't injured. You have a far below average starting point guard, you have a pretty good scoring shooting guard, you have a far below average small forward, a decent center and a bench full of D-League talent.I'm not going to become captain of the anti-Love team, he's obviously a very good player. But when you say this is "not a good team", we have to acknowledge the presence of Love on the team—that alone makes this far from a bad roster. If the guy is THE BEST pf in the game and a top-5 player, then I just want to see his team compete for one single season before I anoint him. If he's been unable to do that on Minnesota because of the injuries, that's fine. He'll just have to wait to prove it next year.

There is no way that this team should be contending for a playoff spot, even if healthy. Kevin Love being the best PF in the league does NOT make up for the fact that the rest of this team is horrible.
And I couldnt disagree more with the bolded. One player does not make a team full of scrubs "far from a bad roster."
Ya man I remember you telling me about him awhile back.Rck, I really hope my dude Orlando Johnson gets a shot with y'all.
He's a good player, and I just hope he doesn't get lost in the NBA depth charts.
Dude is from my hometown, has a tragic background, and really want to see him excel.
My buddies who went to UCSB, always hyped him up to me

I would be shocked if he doesn't get a real shot to play the rest of the season, hopefully he shows out
After getting rid of Thornton and Jimmer, we have 3 guards on roster now in Thomas, Mclemore, and McCallum so we are a little thin at the position to say the least.
