"And I don't buy the Kevin Love hype because if you're that good, the best PF in the game, you gotta be able to win your team basketball games. You gotta carry them to the Playoffs. KG did it with his Wolves. Dirk did it after Nash and Fin left.
He's great, will give you great stats, but looks like he can't be that number one guy."
This is what I'm saying if dude is as good as his numbers say the wolves should be winning more
just doesn't add up unless dudes just a looter in a riot
The talent around Love is NOT that bad. It's not "never in playoff contention" bad.Son what are you talking about?!?!? You do know bball is a team game right....

His horrible rim defense is a serious issue and points directly to one of the team's biggest problems.
Love, combined with the talent around him is good enough to be a 4 seed in the Eastern Conference. The talent around Love is NOT that bad. It's not "never in playoff contention" bad.Son what are you talking about?!?!? You do know bball is a team game right....

you're sleeping on the strippers from sac
Not commenting specifically, but I will say I've had some good times in Sac-Town.
Thes best power forward in the league plays tonight on ESPN at 8 ET.
Dirk will be playing too.

I know a lot of people balk at the thought of a free agent joining Dallas, as it has not happened basically ever, but...
We are only paying three guys above five million next year (Calderon 7 million, Ellis 8.7 million, Wright 5 million).
Our three rookies are all less than 1.6 million, and Wayne Ellington can easily be shipped out to get rid of his 2.5 million.
That's only 25 million committed to seven players. Dirk will most likely sign on for somewhere between 10-12 million a year.
That's still 28 million or so in cap space to wiggle around with.
Melo....?
Or hell, maybe even Greg Monroe and Luol Deng. I know it's unlikely that Detroit let Monroe walk, but those are two pieces that Dallas desperately needs to look at. C and SF.
Shawn Marion and Vince Carter both expire at the end of the year, and I can't see either being back. I think they want to pursue opportunities elsewhere. Vince's body language has been so strange this year I have no idea what he's been thinking, and Shawn can probably still make some decent change somewhere.

^^^ These last two pages just prove my original point. Like BHZ said, there's arguments for an against all of them. Its too close to unequivocally call anyone of them the best PF. That's why, to me, its pointless to rank them. But if someone insists on doing so, go for it.
Man stop it, Dirk has ALWAYS had talent around him besides last season
Josh Howard/Jason Terry/Jerry Stackhouse/Jason Kidd **** even Devin Harris had his best years there.
He had 4 other guys scoring double digits consistently and Josh Howard putting up damn near 20 a game.
Kevin Love plays with a PG who can't shoot from anywhere on the court, Kevin Martin, Pek and a lot of guys you can't name
Yet he still has them at about .500 in the stacked West
