does anyone really think Melo is staying in NY? honestly?

if he does then i will NOT feel bad for him. he dug his grave then he will have to lay in it.

He can put up all the numbers he wants but NY is a dump and will remain one for a long time.
like Detroit?

someones mad :lol

how did i know someone was gonna bring up the Pistons. While they do suck and unlike Knick fans, i can easily admit it. While we have talent, we have other issues stopping us.

Knicks have ZERO talent.

He has 130 million reasons to stay.

Dwight had somewhere close to that many reasons to stay in LA as well... Until a player has signed his name is on a contract its all up on the air.
Dirty secret, Dwight made more money signing with the Rockets than he would have re-signing with the Lakers thanks to Texas not having state taxes. Same rule applies to LeBron and Bosh. But Melo won't have the luxury if his choices are the Knicks, Lakers and Bulls.

i tried to tell everyone this, but no one listened. no state income taxes FTW

Interesting considering adidas really put him on with their marketing, i'd stay put.

But i wonder if him playing in portland and near Nike headquarters will come into play

I posted that the Lakers would have lottery pick in this years draft back in June 2013.

All the Kobe stans were rustled and called me an idiot.  I see the future.

:lol

People were freaking out and calling it trolling when ESPN picked them to finish 12th in the West and ranked Kobe the 25th best player. Good times.

Same thing when SCHOENE projected the Knicks to win 37 games. Turns out it was too generous.

when did i call you an idiot?

You didn't exactly call me an idiot.  You "SMH" at me after I said the Lakers would tank.
I really don't think the Lakers are "tanking". They're just not that good.

Like they play hard every night. They just don't have the horses to keep up with teams because they're talent level is low and injuries.

Along with the teammates he had in LA vs the ones here

Honestly, Kyrie will be a better PG than Wall.

Rubio and Brandon Knight will also end up better.
Ding Ding

I said it on page 2, he should be held to a higher standard, like all other potential franchise players are. Two years have passed and this so called franchise player has shown next to no improvement in fact there has been some regression. That is not a good sign. When Kwame Brown wasn't delivering he was eaten alive, Adam Morrison, Sebastian Telfair, Greg Oden even though its not totally his doing, the list goes on. All players who were hailed "The second coming of X" who flamed out and didn't live up to their expectations. This is what John Wall is doing and IMO will continue to do, I don't see why he's being given a free pass by observers and analysts. Maybe if he felt a little fire underneath him it would motivate him some.
^ Tyreke>Wall
I don't see him ever being an elite PG.
I don't think it's the point that he can't improve those aspect of his game, it's just that in two years John Wall has done nothing to improve his game. I personally still believe that John can be an elite player. But I also believe that Kyrie Irving has passed him already.
He needs to lock himself in the game, stop playing all of this pickup Ball Is Life mix tape basketball and work on his jumpshot.
All star? D wade , kyrie , jrue, rose, rondo, d will. Nah not happening but john is playing great right now
...and you think John Wall will be an all star next year.

LOL. Credibility=shaky.
If anything I thought Wall was going to be a point god when came out and Kyrie would be the lesser of the two. Wall just has dissapointed me a lot, the Wiz suck and while the team "culture" was messed up, I think that is sort of a cop out argument. Kyrie is just better. I think Wall will get better and figure it out but as of now Kyrie is the superior of the two.
I would take Kyrie over any point guard in the league right now. I don't care, flamesuit on. Dude is a problem!

.

Kyrie got yoyos for days...

John wall isn't as good as kyrie doe..

Damn, Lillard has kind of been the face of adidas since Rose's injury too.
they still put Dwight Howard on the Benson tower all star weekend. I wonder if they knew he was about to leave, I thought Lillard would have been better representative since he was in all the events, but at the same time he is kind of new.

I can't lie, I was stunned when I saw the 37 game prediction :lol now they need a 17-8 finish to pass it :eek :{

hes probably just gonna see whos gonna give him the most money this summer

Dude i think you called yourself an idiot for being on point about the Lakers!
i have no idea how to decipher this.

Professional tanking cant be too obvious.
i only say that because i think you meant they would tank would Kobe playing.

its different when hes out.

Kobe aint a tanker bro

lol i can sense the kobe love thru the screen.  you got his back like he's your fam.

What I said was along the lines of, Kobe being gone for much of the season and the lakers would use that to tank games.
