historically weak EC or not, when you do that you are more than worthy of the MVP. Should shaq have gotten it? Maybe. Over A.I.? That's for sure debatable. His team came four wins short of 60. Like I said, Shaq was deserving, but that doesn't mean A.I. wasn't

in that historically weak east they went to 7 games twice. but noooo AI is the MVP. were within a vince carter jumpshot of not even making it to the finals. but 39%, 30 shots a game is the MVP.

i would say the best record in the east is diluted to a degree when compared to the best record in the west because of how bad the east is

This. The Raptors don't have anything close to a Durant or Westbrook type talent. If they don't shake up that roster, they're going to be nothing better than decent for years. With OKC, everyone knew that first playoff appearance was just the start of something.

When someone puts up 31 a game on a 56 win team they are generally the MVP of the NBA. Them being worthy of the award goes without saying. The conference that the player is playing in means little in this regard because at the end of the day, THEY HAD THE BEST RECORD IN THE EAST AND HE AVERAGED 31 A GAME . Like I said, under any circumstance that is MVP caliber stuff.

I'm sure Lakers fans would prefer the team sucking for 1 or 2 years and then maybe getting championship level talent, then being a middle-of-the-road playoff team, with no real chance of winning the championship, for a decade.

look at the clippers, they got drafted blake and paired him up with CP3. without blake, cp3 wont agree to get traded to the clippers.

because they have up and coming young talent, the clippers 2nd round exit last year is something to build on so its a "good" playoff exit

the 06 clippers that lost in the 2nd round with brand and kaman didnt really have anything to build on and they were not getting any better so it was a "bad" playoff exit
