Straight up,

It'll be a Clipper / Heat final if both teams stay healthy. Deandre will emerge as a defensive anchor of sorts, and Blake will be more responsible as a go to guy when it hits under 6 minutes in the fourth quarter.

Can't wait to see how this season plays out.

I wanted to keep Kendall and let him get some D-League burn and then take Maynor's job by season's end.

Clippers still got two of the softest big me in the league, neither with a post game. I don't get how Dudley & JJ are gonna be much of factor when no one is doubling Blake or deandre and neither of them can slash. Crawford is either really hot or really cold. Their bench isn't deep. I do t understand the hype around the clippers besides CP3 and doc but that's gonna get them so far

That's all she wrote for Kendall and his NBA career. He's just not an NBA player. I honestly didn't think he was high major quality in college.

i wouldnt say DJ is soft, hes just still figuring out how to play basketball

youre gonna be waiting a long time then

man why bother dude has not a single good word to say of the bulls or rose, he entitled to his opinion but its not one based on any type of logic.

Im ok with the bulls and rose hate, ppl haven't truly seen him play healthy in over 2 years, after the mvp year he battled nagging injuries most of the year then got hurt. They need a reminder :hat

Miami will have their way with the Clippers. One finals I don't want to see. It be fun to see Bron on Blake when Miami goes small.

a closer look at Lillards god awful defense. Man, I never realized actually how bad it was and it makes him look even worse when people compare him to other point guards that actually out perform him offensively and can hold their own on defense as well. really hope he worked on that part of his game this off-season.

i really wanna know what makes you think three players on there last legs improve this soft team. wtv drugs your on get off them

I don't understand this. Paul Pierce, KG and AK47 all put in all-star caliber years last year. Why do SOME people act like we've added players that havent done anything in years?

Also the casual NBA fan can't comprehend the upgrade in coaching the Nets got. PJ Carlisimo and Avery were absolutely garbage and we were lucky to have enough talent to beat up on sub-.500 teams. PJ was so irritating I felt bad for judging Sprewell for choking him out.l

So replacing those guys with someone who has absolutely no experience coaching is an upgrade? Not saying Kidd wont be a good coach but he has no experience so It's hard to project the outlook of this team. Coaching matters just as much as the talent on the roster. Look at the Lakers last season.

Ok..

so now we gon act like jkidd didt play a PG in the NBA for 20 years... thats enough experience to study the game bro. c'mon now with this dumb talk.

Are you referring to Key Arena? :lol

No. My comment is more about the NBA in general. The Target Center is about to have its second major renovation since opening in 1990. Considering the NBA considers the lifespan of an arena to be about 25 years, I'd say it's a nice little gesture that the league didn't ask for a new arena. Maybe that's their reward for taking their team off the market (which it may or may not have been in the first place, because I don't believe a single damn word from the league office).

Yea and Isiah Thomas was also an elite PG for several years, whats your point? Being an elite player doesn't mean your gonna be a good coach.

Yep. At this point in their careers, they're still very productive. They're just not 1st (or even 2nd in KG's case) options anymore which is why the situation in Brooklyn is perfect.

If you need Garnett to get you 20 a night, you're in trouble. If you need him to play good D, knock down open 16 footers & occasionally post up for you, then he's absolutely perfect.

And Pierce was 19 ppg on 56% TS last year, 38% from 3. He is a MASSIVE MASSIVE upgrade over Crash who was giving them 8 ppg on 28% from 3. MASSIVE upgrade. And defensively, once you get past Bron & Melo (who both routinely torch Crash BTW) Pierce can adequately defend every other 3 in the East.
