That's actually pretty cool of Kobe. Too bad it won't make much, if any, difference.

The coaches choose the replacements. It doesn't go to the next person on the voting list.a little too late kobester
if he gives up his spot, does the next highest backcourt player get next? Steph
if cp3 is out...Lin
edit: scratch that. should kobe not play, the next player would be a player selected by gms right?

IMO that's long term thinking for making money for multiple seasons, not for winning. Clips can keep Blake the next 6 years but in that time he is never going to be anywhere near a prime Melo.Carmelos about to be 30 though, Blake Griffin is 24. Gotta think long term with this, especially when even with Melo I dont think the Clips get good enough to where they can beat out the likes of San Antonio or OKC conistentlyWhich is stupid to me^
Cp3 is a perfect number one if he has a reliable scorer, melo fits the bill.
The trade makes perfect sense to me.
Oh sure, just hand over CP3But if there's a way to get Melo without giving up Blake, then I'll listen.
Expound on thisI wish the Lakers would have signed Gilbert Arenas.
It would just be really cool to see Agent Zero come back home to LA and cook, he could probably put up like 20 a game if he's allowed to go lone wolf out there.Expound on thisI wish the Lakers would have signed Gilbert Arenas.
