Gobert can hoop.
Oh yeah.

Can't wait to see his progression, particularly defensively. Really think there's a little-less-athletic Tyson-level ability there once he learns the game better and adds weight. Took Tys awhile to do those things, too, but I see the raw materials in Gobert to have that kind of impact. So smart, so long, and it looks like he'll have the rare ability to step out and face guard/get a 10-foot long arm in the way on the perimeter, which as we have seen with really only Tys, Noah and maybe M. Gasol regularly, can be incredibly disrupting to offenses.

Those Spurs commercials

Grizzlies waive Andre Barrett, Melvin Ely, Tony Gaffney and Willie Reed. Going with 13 on roster. Franklin the only one born past 90

Rudy Gobert was a lottery talent, I really think the combine really messed up his stock, I guess people don't realize when your 7-2 with a 7-9 wingspan you really don't have to jump that high. :lol

^^^T-Wolves must have picked up Williams' option so they can still try and trade him.

Is it just me or I wish someone would take Tayshaun Prince off the Grizz hands so they can sign Stack 5 for the minimum? I mean, Jackson is a hard nosed defender (better on Durant than Prince is) and is at least a much needed scorer on the perimeter. Not the best shooter, but neither is Prince at this point in his career.

Yep, that's what it sounds like. Even tricking teams into thinking they're invested in him. :lol

My excitement seems to be much higher than last year going into the regular season. Only teams out west I don't give a chance for the playoffs are the Suns and Kings. Hell I could see the Jazz making a push, but they're my third worst team in the conference. Didn't like what I saw out of Trey but his injury seems like a factor for them.

I think the Kings are gonna surprise some people. Cousins is looking good so far in preseason. If it continues, i wouldnt be surprised

Uh, so Tyson Chandler is the NBA's All-Time leader in field goal percentage.....

1. Tyson Chandler (.5836)
2. Shaquille O'Neal (.5823)
3. Artis Gilmore (.5819)

Now, granted Shaq has about 5x the amount of attempts :lol But that's still astonishing.

I would have never guessed that. I'm surprised Wilt isn't higher on the list. Never seen footage of him shooting anything other than a lay-up or dunk.

Had a nice pre-season but not too high on them. In terms of "surprise some people", do you mean like win over 30 games?

Indeed. Possible 3rd place finish in the Pacific Division IMO, which really doesn't mean much, but it's improvement.

I'm as low on the Lakers as anyone but it's a tough sell to say that the Kings will finish ahead of the Lakers. Or even get close to it. Now if Bryant misses the entire season or comes back and isn't anywhere near full health then yeah maybe. Hopefully Cousins can be a leader but let's be real.

The Jazz and Gordon Hayward are said to be far apart on extension talks. His camp wants money like they 4/49 that Favors just got. :rolleyes
