This ain't 5-6 years ago, Urlacher isn't the same LB you think he is.
I know exactly who i think he is. Urlacher is still a +#*+!*$ beast just watch. He had an off year last year but he has been as steady as it getsall the way until than. Apparently hes in great shape right now, my man will beast this year. Watch out, Urlacher still has a few years to be best LB in thedivision IMO

I mean before last season he had 2 of his best ever statistical seasons in the 2 prior to that one, and he took home DPOY in the one prior to those 2. Justbecause he had an off year (where he was playing hurt ALOT) doesnt mean Urlacher has lost it.

i think yall def gotta better overall cast of LBS, but i still dont think that there is a LB duo as dominant as ours. Briggs and Urlacher both got crazyresumes and are still doin their thing

But really yes the Bears have that on lock in the LB dept. Atleast ours is a lot better than last year. I just hope Avril is ready to start at the DE everygame. He has the speed rush but that run ...iono..

The Bears confirmed a report by the National Football Post that running back Kevin Jones is out for the season with torn ligaments in his left ankle. Jones suffered the injury in Thursday's exhibition with Cleveland.

The running back, who suffered two major injuries during his time with the Detroit Lions, remained optimistic while being carted away from the locker room last night, but an MRI Friday morning revealed his worst fear.

Jones was signed to a two-year, $3.5 contract in the off-season after testing free agency. He was expected to be a reliable backup to start Matt Forte. Now the Bears might have turn to Garrett Wolfe or Adrian Peterson to fill the role, unless a solid option pops up via free agency.

Jones is scheduled to undergo surgery early next week. The procedure will be performed by Bears foot and ankle specialist Dr. Armen Kelikian.

It's a significant loss. Jones was gonna get a lot more carries this season. Forte carried way too much last season. Let's see if we pick anyone up. Otherwise it's Wolfe and AP.

In other news, Rex Grossman is having a good night; 9-16, 197 yds, and 2 TDs.

I always liked Grossman and thought he could be a good QB with the proper coaching. I bet Schaub gets injured and Grossman leads the Texans to the playoffs. Iwish him well.
