Iverson was late for the photoshoot. on a side note, I believe Kobe has a cast on and that is why he is hiding his left arm.
This picture alone has 3 MVP awards, 7 championships,  and 10 finals appearances.

were talkin about photoshoots, not an actual game, but photoshoots.

How many franchise players you know, that do a group photoshoot??

wow this puic brings me back esp with john wallace in it, i was in 5th grade w his authetic jersey haha. but i would def choose 96 as the best class so far

Thats stupid we cant say, '84> just because of Jordan.
The topic is CLASS. If we were to say top four of each class then obviously '84
Im going to say '96>'03>'84

I heard AI had the flu or something lol

That is an amazing class though..

Kind of ironic now isn't it? He wasn't around then and isn't around now.

that boy AI is a saint around these parts BECAUSE of the bowling alley...white or black they love AI here...get a life bro..

to answer OP's question tho..you could really make that argument..it seems like most of the superstars in todays league came from that class...

This. Just remove John Wallace and Samaki Walker

No.

Yeah there were some other gems from that draft class as well. Peja Stojakovic was drafted in the 2nd round.
This class alone had a big impact on the landscape of the NBA in the 00's.

The 96 and 03 class may have been deeper but how can you argue with Olajuwon, Barkley, Stockton, Jordan, Etc? Jordan and Olajuwon are better than any player in both of those classes.

kobe bryant was in the 1996 class and lebron james was in the 2003 class.

i watched hakeem in his prime and as great as he was, both kobe and lebron are better players then him.

Since Olajuwon played a different position so I dont think thats fair. And if you're talking about impact on a team I'd put Olajuwon over Bron.

I was born in 93 so ill take 03 even though %+%%@ **+ Josh howard didn't step up in the NBA finals in 06

I understand that 03 isn't done, but how do you justify putting 03 above 84?

I am running with 96 in terms of depth, but I can't see how 03 isn't the last of the 3. Let alone above 84. Explain that please.

This.
84 > ________________.

And for the kiddies who think Bron and Kobe are better than Hakeem Olajuwon. Let me say this, next to Jordan, Kobe is my 2nd favorite player of all time. However Hakeem Olajuwon was UNSTOPPABLE, he didn't need ANYONE and he would son guys like Shaq, Mutombo, Ewing, and David Robinson on the regular (probably the greatest big man era of all time). He is arguably the greatest Center of all time so to say that Kobe and LeBron were in another class (or way better or whatever) is one of the most asinine statements I've ever heard. That is downright degrading, you can't be a real fan of the game of basketball nor the NBA itself to speak such blasphemy.

To be drafted ahead of Michael Jordan and not be considered a bust is just further testament to how great "The Dream" was. Not since Kareem was there a Center more unstoppable than Hakeem (yes he was better than Shaq, no doubt, Shaq could not touch Hakeem in the skills department). Another thing, Hakeem didn't even start playing basketball at any sort of serious level until he was in College (I believe he didn't even start playing till he was like 16 or something). The guy was just a NATURAL, the greatest footwork I've ever seen from a big man. DAMN I MISS THE 90's.

Ya'll just don't understand do ya'll? Kids these days man, DAMN.

That's funny because just between Jordan and Dream you have 6 MVP awards and 8 NBA Championships and 8 Finals appearances. Throw in Barkley, Stock and Perkins you have 7 MVP awards 8 NBA Championships and 12 Finals appearances.
Lol again 84 > ______________.

Props to sneakerheathen for droppin some serious knowledge on this thread. When Bron wins two ships with his 2nd man being kenny smith holla at me

lol, he was just talking about the people in the picture but if you want to include the class then there's around 4 MVP awards, 11 championships, 18 Finals appearances.
