Yea that was pretty much just inexcusable. I'd say like 95% of the time any team is going to stop the ball, dudes just weren't paying attention.That's not to say Duke wouldn't have scored on that possession anyways, but they did get a gimme.

Within the past 20 years, Duke has one of the best records, and has won more championships than any other program in the NCAA. Just because they dont win thetitle ever year makes them overrated?

Both West Virginia and Arizona are world's better than Belmont, that's why they aren't #15 seeds, which you almost just lost to. I fail to seehow you could still be ultra confident in your team after this performance. Duke's reliance on the 3 will come back to bite them.

That being said I have them going at least to the Sweet 16 in all my brackets

hey im a huge duke fan and yea they were lucky today but you have to get lucky also to win the whole thing. do i think they are going all the way? nope. but ifanyone has been watching them this year they have been playing up to their competition. we'll see what happens on saturday

Why does everyone automatically assume Duke will lose in the next round just because they had a close first round game? It's about matchups, and Belmontplayed smallball just like Duke which is why they struggled. Usually Duke draws the big men from the other team out to defend the 3 point shooters and thenthey can drive the lane and kick out if they need to. Belmonts smaller players were quick enough to step out and then recover so Duke didn't get all ofthe wide open stuff they are used to. I expect them to have a much easier time with WV.

I cannot stand Duke, but it's always fun watching people come out the woodworks when something even remotely goes wrong for the Blue Devils... Duke isoverrated and players shouldn't go there if they want championships?

Fact of the matter is.....Belmont is a TERRIBLE matchup forDuke.....

How to you beat a team who plays lots of pressure defense??? W/ 3 Point shooting, driving and Backdoor cuts....All of which are strengths of Belmont.

Duke has not played up to their competition, they've played down to them. The Miami and GTech games were HORRIBLE, especially the Gtech joint. Igot them in the sixteen, but they had a rough time last night for sure.
