It had to be the lakers that backed away,
I mean the hornets were getting a good deal
In return.. LO MARTIN AND SCOLA? Whats a better
Deal than that...

Sucks for NO, this trade would've been good for them with all the pieces they get. But oh well, back to normal. I think we need to fire Mike Brown already.

Having the deal get cancelled just ruined the Hornets.
They would have had a decent team with a solid core, but now that Paul is leaving during Free Agency they won't get anything in return.
Chris Paul is going to join a big market team anyways, so I really don't get why the owners were pissed.
Every trade that will be sent to the Hornets will most likely come from a big market team too.

The Lakers are the biggest basketball team in the world, and also the most profitable.
So it shouldn't be outrageous when big stars want to go there, and when they are able to pull these deals.
